I no longer need to climb the ladder.. it reaches enough to do the job. I start from the downspout end of the gutter to the othet end of the gutter end. .

Does the trick but feels pretty flimsy like it could break when applying any pressure to it

This works exactly as you suppose it would. The handle was quite long, allowing me to reach gutters at a decent height. I have leaf guards on my house, so this is handy to just brush off debris if it starts to pile up due to a lack of wind. Only thing that would make it better would be if the metal was slightly firmer.

I ordered this product a second time the same day I received my first order because I was sure there had to be a major (isolated) error in the packaging of my first order. When I received my second order two days later, the SAME problem occured with my second order. Both boxes had 7 pole pieces that is supposed to be the rear-end piece of the extended pole. Therefore, because of it being the end piece, there is no way for another piece of the pole to join together with the end. Of coure this makes it impossible for rhe other six identical 'end pieces' to be a part of the pole. Will now have to return both boxes and order this product from another manufacturer. Am afraid to try for a third time with THIS manufacturer. Too bad, because I was hopeful that this particular product was the one to satisfy my need.
