Excellent tablet especially for the price!
I can't believe how good this tablet actually is considering how little it cost. I got it even less than its advertised price by choosing a refurbished tablet from Amazon warehouse. So I paid £139.99 instead of the advertised £179.99. so for a tablet under £150 ( under £200 even at full price) with only 2gb ram my expectations were incredibly low. However it runs reasonably well with very little stuttering or lagging unless I run a lot of apps in the background. For the price frankly I think the screen is absolutely amazing. It's full hd and it looks great. It's responsive and I can't fault it. The device itself feels a little bit flimsy but for the price that's not unexpected. I also bought a snap on case at the same time and as soon as it's in the case it's no longer noticeable and feels much less breakable. The speakers either side are not the best quality but they're loud enough to hear and are perfectly acceptable. Can I recommend this tablet? If your a high end gamer this probably isn't for you. Then again if you're a high end gamer you wouldn't even be looking at this tablet. For watching films browsing the web and as in my case for using in my new job a little bit of word processing it's absolutely fine.

Comes apart
Seems like it's coming apart, splitting apart almost like it hasn't been put together properly... save your money

Incapable of screen casting and no HDMI port
Not up to the job. Its a little slow. Most of the apps in play store are not optimized for the device. The main issue was that it was purchased for streaming films and video. It does not have an HDMI port which I was aware of before buying. Unfortunately I had assumed that it would be capable of some sort of screen cast. It did not support Chromecast and after some research found that it was not capable of the task because of its low spec chip set. It could cast the video but not the sound (tried all of the relevant apps). Other than that major issue the device was fine for the price range, good screen and external front facing speakers. I have since returned the tablet and received a refund without issue. The best alternative I could find was a Bush Spiral B3 10". It does what I require. The speakers are sub standard but as a whole is a better device better than the Acer. Would have rated it 4 star if it could screen cast.

Great tablet
As the title suggests this is a great tablet I would have gone for the Kindle 10 " but didn't want to risk not having the play store. This Acer tablet works well. The screen is crisp and pretty responsive. Sound is not really loud but great through my Bluetooth head set. Cameras are the reason for 4 stars they are pretty abismal. I can't comment on battery life yet I've just set it up ,updated everything and streamed 2 movies all told about 5 hrs out of the box and I've just popped it on charge it had 39% battery left . It's running Android 7 which you can change the GUI from Acers own to Androids it runs 7 pretty smoothly and I'm experienceing zero lag the whole tablet works very well it came with a UK plug and usb charge cable and a Qwerky little folding stand . Now I've tried a few unbranded micro SD cards in it that were working ok untill I put them in to this tablet all 4 came up with a corrupt message whilst trying to format and all 4 are now not working in anything at all . However I pop in a branded SanDisk Micro SD and it works perfectly and as Android 7 allows you to use the SD card as internal storage it makes this tablet pretty useful. Is it the best out there? No. Is it a good quality tablet for this price point ? Absolutely so to recap Okish sound Poor cameras Appears to have decent Battery life Decent build quality Crisp screen Android 7 Decent performance

Jerky playback, games, video etc.
Bought to replace Iconia Tab 10 which I accidentally broke. Despite having the same ram and memory as the Tab 10 this tablet is not as good as the Tab 10. It is not as smooth in game play etc. Also does not feel as well built as the Tab 10. However it is cheaper than the Tab 10 so I guess you get what you pay for, It will do for the time being.

Excellent tablet and good value for money
An excellent tablet. I needed a new tablet and read up on the Acer Iconia. I am very pleased with it. It does everything I want and need to do and is excellent value for money. It arrived ahead of the expected delivery date too. I would recommend to others.

Buy something better.
If you run more than one app at a time it struggles to cope and freezes up. It's ok for watching Netflix or YouTube, beyond that it's not very good. If you plan to play games on it or similar demanding apps it'll die on you very quickly. It's very basic and gets hot quickly. I won't bother with one from Acer again.

If you want a quality product don't be cheap
Overall it's better than the last decently priced tablet I had. However it does have it's problems. I mainly bought this to use Autodesk sketchbook and sadly enough it hates the app for some reason. I can only have 1 drawing at a time otherwise midway through a drawing it will go off the app and my drawing has disappeared, only remaining the last drawing - It will also glitch out even with 1 drawing when I add too many layers, however I can get rid of the problem temporarily. On rare occasions it will turn it's power off for no reason and can take a little while to turn back on which could be an overheating problem, which it does get warm/hot when you use it for too long.
