Ok, so the truck is definitely fun, and I think the price is decent for what you get. It's tough, it's fast in small areas like bashing around the yard. Not as fast as advertised in a straight line down the road, but that's not surprising. Because it has a lot of torque, it wheelies so easy from a stop, and it will even backflip itself. So top end speed isn't the best. I love the truck, but there's a few things I don't like. The spare/upgrade parts are just too expensive when compared to the price of the truck new. I'd like oil filled shocks, and metal diffs, and that's more than half the cost of the whole RTR truck package. If you want to upgrade, you'd soon be spending as much as a name brand RC like a Traxxas or an Arrma. That makes no sense to me. And the batteries are great, but forget the charger it comes with.. I bought a decent balance charger, about 25$... So if I bought the diffs and shocks and maybe a different color body too, I'd be spending close to another 100$. I like it, but I wish I spent my money on a name brand truck, like a Corally Mammoth, or a Traxxas stampede or rustler, or an Arrma Senton or Typhon, or many others. So choose wisely, and consider what you might spend to upgrade it and/or fix it when stuff breaks...

I am not an "RC" enthusiast even though I grew up buying a bunch of them and have owned a bunch. This is by far the most "advanced" one I've owned. I bought this for me and me son (7) to play with and for that purpose, it's well beyond it's price point thus far and for what I was hoping. First off, I was expecting much more of a hobby like set up. Nope. It's pretty much RTR out of the box. Charge up the batteries, add them to the controller, put the body on the frame with the pins (and install the rear wing if you want to).... and you're off. It's not as big as I was hoping but all of the other reviews already said that - more a 1/12. That doesn't mean it's small, it's just not giant. I would put it's top speed around 20+... definitely not 30 MPH (48KMH like they say). This is actually totally sufficient and good for something in this price range I'd say. And the way it gets to that speed is great. It rips through leaves, pine straw, pretty much anything. I've launched it off walls in our backyard... my son's bike jumps.... it definitely seems very well built.

This thing is 💯% legit! I think I had it set on the low setting the first day I got it, (you can set it to low or high on the remote) but it still managed to impress. Second day after giving the batteries a full charge and replacing a wheel, (cause the nut came off) also put a bit of locktite on it, and this thing blow my mind! The speed is impressive, not gonna win any races against a more expensive unit but it's pretty quick for the price, and it pop wheelies easily. 4 wheel drive with plenty of torque, you will not be disappointed if this is you or your kids first hobby grade rc car. And like the box says, not intended for ages under 14. This is a great value for what you get and replacement parts are easy to find cause you will need them. Majority of this car is plastic so things are gonna break cause this thing is fast.

Seems like a well built car. Very nice styling! It does have oil filled shocks and foam inserts in the tires. It is a bit slow though. Would be excellent for a beginner. It is closer to a 12th scale in actual size. I will be making it brushless soon. Then it should be fantastic. Overall for the price I do recommend. A good starter and a great platform to upgrade!

Bought this for my son for Xmas. He drove it slowly for 2 minutes and the wheel completely snapped off. Not sure if I got a bad one, but was really disappointing.
