I love this it plays the videos of my little dvds I thought I never would get to watch again it’s clear and so easy to set up I did it my self Thankyou so much this was just what I needed

The DVD player was very easy to hook up and works quite well. The price was attractive and the unit is small, although it has more bells and whistles than I need to use! My only reservation was the lack of any indication of brand or manufacture on the very neat packaging and instructions, aside from the mention that it was made in China...

This DVD player is awesome. At least it is for me. I have it on a little shelf on top of the TV that's mounted on the wall in the bedroom. Not only does it play my DVDs awesome, but, my dog accidentally pulled the cord and it fell on the floor. I thought it was done. I put it back up and it works fine. He did it again and actually broke the HDMI cord. I got another cord and put it in and this DVD player still works so at least for me, this gets an A+.

Had it for almost 6 months and use it 3-4x a week. For the price it’s not bad. Picture is good, remote works if you point directly at the screen area. A weird thing I noticed, you have to turn it on to open. So if you just push “open” while it’s turned off, nothing will happen. Second, subtitles are automatically turned on if the dvd has subtitles available, every time. I find them distracting so make sure to go to the dvd menu options before you click play. So, couple of weird functionality things but won’t ruin it for me. It was a $30 unbranded DVD player haha

So far it's been working good. Some of the DVD players, their remotes are not compatible with certain TVs , but I did not find this to be the case with mine. I have an LG tv. The picture quality seems to be okay. Its not too difficult to operate the remote.

I got this a couple of months ago and the return window expired two weeks ago and this player already doesn't work so it's a complete waste of money I am bitterly disappointed and cannot recommend it AT ALL Update - the seller contacted me straight away and after asking the problem returned my money immediately, they were so prompt and decent that I decided to order another one and try again. I will update this review in a few months to confirm longevity but I can already say that it's a nice little dvd player, easy to use and perfectly able to play my USA dvd's and my british dvd's. I don't have a telly so my dvd player gets a LOT of use and I usually have to buy another one every year and a half or so (built in obsolescence and such) so I don't expect much from them just that they be easy to install, this is, and play any kind of dvd, this does. I'm very happy with this purchase, we'll see how long it holds up :)

This is not a complaint, but this unit does have directions and formats that take a bit getting used to. This replaced an older DVD/VCR unit that lasted for years but as there are only DVDs, it was time for an upgrade. This unit is compact, light weight and does open/close easily. For some reason, it does want to include sub titles on most DVDs and it takes 3 or 4 steps to remove them. The picture quality and volume is good and the price is competitive John J Hogan
