Perfect upgrade for my old brushed RC car!!
Breathed new life into my Traxxas Slash! Our slash had been relegated to mostly sitting on a shelf since it was brushed and so slow compared to all of our newer brushless cars. So we decided to update it to brushless as well and this set over great quality and power for a relatively low price. Switching over just to a few hours and was fairly easy and now the car is tons of fun! Does wheelies at like 30mph and probably hits 50mph now with a 19T pinion. Haven’t actually put a GPS on it but it’s got to be close! So far I’m really loving this. It’s nice to be able to program it, but honestly it seems pretty well set up in out of the box. No complaints!!

Powerful, fun, and easy to install in Gorgon
Installed this in my Gorgon after the stock motor smoked after 2 weeks of use. Install was pretty straightforward with some research since this is my first hobby RC. Definitely going to want the programming card to tune it up if you can find one. I've messed with some of the settings and it certainly improved how it drives. I paired it with a 15t pinion and slightly larger tires and it is super fast now. The motor doesn't get very hot but then again it hasn't been warmer than 35 degrees outside since using it. The true tests will be in summer when I run it. I've been running it with NIMH batteries since lipos are such a pain to me and they somehow last more than twice as long than they did in the stock brushed motor.

Great replacement or custom build combo
This set up Rips. Have been struggling wirh motor and esc problems on my Arrma Vorteks. Have tried just about every "cheaper" esc, from 80a to 120a, using 3s, all cut out. Was using a 3660 4250kv motor, would scream fir about 1 minute, then cut out. This combo runs better, as fast, more torque, and next to no heat from motot or esc.Great product. Spend just a little extra, and it makes a world of diffrence.

Worth the money
Have installed these n a couple in a couple RC cars and both have worked great on 2S or 3S. Great combo for a backyard basher

arrma vorteks mega brushless upgrade
Perfect combo for upgrading arrma vorteks mega to brushless. This is the one you want for this platform. The 3700kv motor has sufficient length to clear the chassis for the vorteks. Shorter motors would require trimming to fit. I paired this setup with a 5mm shaft pinion and it works great with the vorteks gearing. With this setup on 2s it's so much quicker and faster than the stock brushes setup.

The best brushless system I’ve owned
I absolutely love this setup. I like that you can adjust everything on the esc. The motor is beefy with a 5mm shaft. I put this in my arrma granite and typhon 3s and man is it fun and fast. I decided to put the 3150kv in the granite and the 3700kv in the typhon to have two different setups. The granite is running a 15t pinion on big rock wheels that makes it pretty durable and fast at the same time. The typhon with the 3700kv is on a 20t pinion. I can’t usually get it to full speed before letting off the throttle. I sometimes switch to the 26t pinion and I’ve gotten it up to around 60mph maybe little more. If you are looking for a great quality reliable system you can’t beat these for the money

Amazing performance for a good price
I got this to replace stock Traxxas VXL electronics and it was a huge upgrade. If you are on the fence order this now to take your rig to the next level. Probably get a programming card as well so you can tune the ESC. Just be aware you will need pinion with 5mm hole because the motor has 5mm shaft Also I sometimes have an issue where it doesn't want to go into reverse which is why I took off one star

So glad I bought this
Outstanding product..I put this in my Arrma Gorgon and ran on 2S...install was fairly easy considering I never worked on an rc car before. Great product kit and highly recommend it to anyone looking to go brushless on an Arrma Gorgon. I did buy a pinion kit as you will need a 5mm pinion but they are inexpensive so don't worry. Definitely worth the price and 5 stars

ESC stutters when throttle applied. Not gearing. Not programming.

Ordered this hobbywing combo and open the seal box to find no ESC!! Now I have to return the whole thing and find another setup for the new mt10 brushed I bought

Can’t say enough good things about this combo at the price I paid but don’t forget to get a programmer.

Installed in mg arrma gorgon perfectly. Gorgon runs great on brushless motor and used double sided 3m tape to mount ESC.
