The speaker is nice and clear but I foolishly thought it might have boosted the volume more , but the speaker is great

Works great. Using as an external speaker for my Yaesu FTM-510. Fits discreetly in the center console box on my 2018 Honda CRV. Sounds good, plenty audible even with the console closed. Adds depth to an otherwise tinny stock speaker setup to round out repeater chats in the car. Can't say the button on it does much but it does change the sound shape a small amount. Would definitely buy this again for a mobile ham radio. 73 N2SEC
