Seems simple and pretty well built. I used it on 16 ga. steel electrical panels and it cut very well. The cuts were clean with no burrs. It is a bit messy, sending chips about the workbench. A couple of notes; Use oil on the cutting ends. Just a drop or two, but it will cut better and last longer. Practice your cuts on some scrap metal. It's tricky to freehand your cuts and the line you drew is covered by the cutting head. Good product for the price and the right tool for the job
