My daughter jumped in the air from excitement. Started drawing right away.

It’s a set of 12 pencils but be aware that they all have the same colors combination, so you are essentially getting 12 identical pencils. Each pencil is double ended with 8 different colors (4 colors for each end), and the colors are pink, orange, brown and purple for one end and green, blue, red, and yellow for the other end.The pencils are triangular shaped and jumbo sized, but still easy to hold. They produce a blend of colors that is pleasant to look at, and it changes while you color. To sharpen them, I used a double hole metal pencil sharpener (it won’t fit in a standard size one). I had no problem sharpening, and the lead didn’t break at any time. I am not at that point yet, but I can see that they may be a little hard to hold when they become short because of sharpening.I colored a full page using only one of these pencils (see the image) and it is still mostly intact, so they should last you a long time. Overall, I have to say that I’m pretty satisfied with the result and with my purchase.

Managed to get a good start on one coloring page, but found it really tough to get at the yellow, switched to a second pencil and finally gave up, for a whole coloring page I needed to pick the colors on each end more evenly. These work well on clear sticky notes and really make a list look fun. I have other rainbow pencils by this brand and I like those better because each pencil is different and this is just the same pencil over again. I do like how the wrapping indicates which colors are on each end. These would be great for practicing lettering/handwriting, also would be cool in a goodie bag. They are fun, I just wish there were even a second color grouping for so many pencils.

One end is red yellow green blue, the other end is brown purple orange pink. All of the pencils are the same coloring, with no variety in color patterns inside, the outside has several designs though for fun. Great to give out as a party favor, swag bag, artists in art class, preschool, grade schoolers, prizes, doctor's office, and more. Split these up between kids for an extra gift during the holidays, and grab some doodle pads to go with it's nice to let all the siblings and cousins have a universal gift and everyone gets to have the same thing. Might need to add in a jumbo pencil sharpener too. These are a lot of fun. If you want multi-color pencils with different variations of color effects you may need to look elsewhere. These are limited to two ends of different colors and are all the same pencil. Will make unique color patterns in your artwork and writing.

My toddler (4.5 years old) loves activity books and usually will do them in crayons. We take them to restaurants and other places for entertainment instead of screen time. Usually, I need to take a set of crayons with me but with this pencil has a bunch of colors, so he be colorful without so many little things to roll off the table. The pencil is also not completed a round circle but instead it's very rounded triangle so it will keep it from rolling off the table as well. The wood also feels smooth and should sharpen smoothly without the wood breaking like some other really cheap pencils. It's not listed but the pencils are about 7 inches long if you're curious. These would work great for goodie bags for kids over 3 years old. For a little over $1 a piece, these are great and I would recommend to others.

I am super pleased with these colored pencils. They are perfect size for smaller hands since they are a bit wider than a typical pencil. There are 12 pencils with 3 sets of 4. Each set has the same color pattern which is nice since I do have a little one using them so they will last us some time :) And my daughter loves the "pretty rainbow" color that comes out of each pencil!

My students love to use these pencils when correcting their work. With so many colors in one stick, you have a rainbow at your fingertips! This pack of 12 was just enough to give to my class. Perfect as a non-candy Halloween or Valentine's Day treat. These are wide, they feel nice in your hand and still fit into the wide setting on most standard sharpeners. I like that they have different patterns on the pencils, and that the pattern printed on them, it helps to distinguish yours from your neighbors and I hate the pencils that have the patterns or colors applied as a plastic wrap! These are great and we are all loving them!

These colored pencils have 4 colors in one end and 4 colors in the other. The pencil itself is triangular shaped, which is comfortable to hold. They come pre-sharpened, with a flat tip. This makes it easier to see all the colors as you write. It helps to hold it in a more vertical position so you can see multiple colors. As you sharpen it, or hold it at an angle, you will probably just see one color at a time coming through. I haven't figured out how to sharpen them and still get the flat tip, besides cutting it flat after sharpening. Overall, fun to write with and my students like them!
