When I first met my wife she worked at a candy store. She used to make chocolate covered strawberries and other treats. I got this so she can remake those things and she loves it. She alway had trouble with cakepops. Shes is a bit of a perfectionist. This solved that. I have not tried chili or soup but when I worked at a restaurant we had 1 just like this and it does a great job. Big plus is the temperature settings.

This soup kettle looks nice and works well. The lid is a bit tricky to figure out since I don't use it often. Need to look at semi-helpful directions. The main reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5 is because the description clearly said it came with a ladle so I didn't order one. It DOES NOT come with a ladle.

It works great! Soup heats up quite fast. Very sturdy. The lid is the one part that isn't the best design. But, once you get the hang of positioning it on the endless, you are good to go. The kettle has become a conversation piece while enjoying our soups in our friends and family gatherings. It's a fun and useful pot to have.

Much better soup warmer than we could get from Restaurant Equippers. And more than half the price. These work great in our restaurant. Highly Recommend !!!
