Big picture little money
Very nice little unit. Clear and bright, very good zoom. Nice and compact enough to set on the side of your desk or put in the drawer. Surprisingly good for what little it costs.

A great electronic microscope at and even greater price. Works just fine, and so easy to use....
This is one of my better purchases. Works great. And so easy to use. Better than a magnifying glass. I've used it for my coins and also for identifying jewelry. As soon as the neighbors got the word from others that I had this, well, you can imagine. Everybody wants one.....

Surprisingly Versatile Microscope for Under $30—Fun, Educational, and Incredibly Useful!
I purchased the 4.3" Aopick LCD Digital Microscope for $27.99 in January 2025, and honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect—especially since similar models from other brands cost four to five times as much. To my surprise, this has become one of my favorite Amazon purchases! If you have kids (I do), you’ll love how this microscope brings everyday objects to life. Whether it's coins, paper money, collectibles, toys, or just about anything around the house, it lets you explore the tiniest details up close. It’s not only fun but can also be a great educational tool. Beyond the novelty, this microscope has proven incredibly useful in more practical situations. It’s been invaluable for troubleshooting and cleaning my airbrush—I can closely inspect the needle and ensure all the tiny components are properly cleaned. It also saved me a ton of frustration with my 3D printer (Creality Ender 3 S1 Pro). I thought the machine was defective, but zooming in on the first layers of my prints revealed that they weren’t squishing down properly. I even used the scope handheld while the printer was running to inspect the layers in real time. At its core, this is essentially a webcam with a zoom lens and a built-in light—but it delivers far more value than its price tag suggests. For under $30, I’ve gotten more than my money’s worth.

Very nice! It does the job.
Very good for the price. Would be much better if it had clips on the base to hold things down. It’s ok if it is only used for coins. It could use a much better resolution. The screen displays in a slight pixelation but noticeable right off but if you were focusing more, you can see it. Not bad though. I have a Mac desktop and once I connected to it the picture on the desktop’s display, it showed the camera input in the reverse which could have been the software I found to use the microscope with as it doesn’t have software with it. Maybe its in the Mac OS because now I remember the software I found, didn’t work with the scope and I researched more and found out that there is an app built it to the Mac OS called, “Photo Booth”. That’s where I got the reversed images. Other than that, the digital microscope works well. In Photo Booth, you have options. Even though images are in reverse, you can save the images in Photo Booth and then open the image in “Preview” which is another App in the Mac OS you can flip the image horizontally if I’m not mistaken.

Perfect Digital Microscope for Coins and Small Collectibles
I recently bought the Aopick Coin Microscope, and it has exceeded my expectations. The 4.3" LCD screen is clear and bright, making it easy to see fine details without straining my eyes. It’s perfect for examining coins, stamps, jewelry, and other small collectibles. The microscope is very easy to use, with simple controls for magnification and lighting. The built-in LED lights provide even illumination, so I can see every tiny detail clearly. The focus adjustment is smooth, and the stand keeps the items steady while I examine them.

The digital microscope is good in some ways but not satisfactory in other ways.
There should be a way to split the rating system between one star for some aspects and multiple stars for other aspects. This digital microscope gets one, three, or five stars as follows: (*) The microscope gets One Star for: - The microscope came with a User Manual with print so small that it can only be read with a microscope. - The wording in the User Manual is not easy to follow. It may have been authored by someone for whom English is a second language. - Worst of all, the microscope did not come with installation software. I have spent several hours searching the internet and installing or updating various drivers and nothing works. I can see the image clearly on the microscope's screen but I cannot download it to my computer. If you have the right driver for my Windows10 laptop PC, I would like to hear about it. (***) The microscope gets Three Stars for: - The field of view is very small. It can show an image the size of a dime but it cuts off part of the image of a penny (U.S. currency). (*****) The microscope gets Five Stars for: - The image and detail are very good on the screen. - The magnification is better than expected. - Charging the battery from the USB port on my laptop works well. - The digital microscope is not expensive.

The microscope is light and potable. It’s easy to setup and simple to use. The built in 4.3 inch screen allow you comfortably viewing the samples. 50X optical magnification combined with 1000x digital magnification makes it much easier to exam the details of the small samples and delivers clear images for observation. The focus, height and brightness, etc. can be smoothly adjusted. It’s good for both kids and adults to explore ‘tiny‘ world.
