4oz Food Grade Grease for Kitchen Stand Mixers Made in the USA

Perfect amount of food-safe grease I needed to regrease my 20-year-old 4.5-quart KitchenAid mixer. The gloves and spatula additions were great to have. Back to a quiet, well-functioning mixer, finally.

I was very pleased with this order. Not only did I receive the grease for my Kitchen Aid mixer, but a plastic scraper, and some nice black gloves. The scraper was helpful to remove the older grease from the machine. However, it was too wide for some places, so I used a flat tip screwdriver for smaller areas. The grease was easy to apply, and I just used my gloved finger to apply it to the necessary areas of the mixer. Great product. I should have taken pictures, but I totally forgot.

Perfect kit for a DIY solution. I was nervous about opening my mixer but now I am so happy I did it! It is a horribly messy job to take out all the old grease packing, and it’s like handling marshmallow fluff to put the new stuff on. I also used an old stiff art brush with a small round head to really get into and under places with both the old and new grease. Carefully cleaned every gear and repacked with the new material. Mixer sounds a little odd for about 30 seconds and then the new grease will settle in and it’s smooth as the day I bought it 11 years ago.

I used the grease to repack my daughter’s KitchenAid mixer which was leaking oil. I watched a YouTube video to understand the basics and it took about an hour- I am sure I that I could have gotten down to about 45 minutes but I was meticulous about removing as much grease as possible. The 4 oz tub is more than adequate in to complete the job. But it is messy, you will need more gloves, plenty of paper towels and an old toothbrush to get out the old grease between gears. Consider wearing old clothes. My daughter was so happy I got a batch of cookies for my labor.

I have a KA mixer than started leaking oil into the mixer bowl. I bought this kit, watched a step-by-step youtube video and voila! I have a KA mixer that now works like the first day I got it :-)

Pretty easy to do, I wouldnt recommend an Allen wrench to take out the pin. It made it much harder than just removing it with a nail. I would recommend using a punch or a nail that is straight to hit. This was a straight forward process to tear down, remove grease and put back together. The main drive rod in mine shifted up so I had to use the nail in the pen hole to turn it and pull it back down, after that the top went right back on after applying this grease. I used all the supplied grease and it seemed like it was the same amount I removed. It does get a little messy so make sure you have old clothes on.

Perfect for our Kitchen Aid Mixer. It is now working well again.
