Hummingbird feeder
This is really cute but it is too deep for the hummingbirds to reach the syrup.

A bit on the fence
Positive aspects clearly are the ease of cleaning the feeder (wide opening etc.). It looks attractive and fills easily. Red also seems to be the most attractive color for hummingbirds and apparently is not visible to the bee eye spectrum of light. My doubt derives from the fact that the feeder has a lot of ‘waste’ space as the level of fluid in the jar never drops below just beneath the ‘flowers’, so either it does not attract that many hummingbirds or they can’t really get to the feeder fluid below that level. It may also be hard for them to ‘rest on the jar due to its shape, hence the four stars. My other feeder - a more traditional big box store type of feeder with a gravity driven filler function - attracts quite a few hummingbirds and they rest on the little ‘step’ while drinking. The disadvantage is that the flowers of this feeder are yellow and (therefore?) attract wasps and bees.

Pretty, But Not A Success
Very pretty hummingbird feeder, but our hummingbirds hardly visited it. When I examined the feeder, I discovered why. It's an ant magnet! The flower spouts are wide enough to allow ants to easily enter, where they drown. Plus, the shape of the feeder requires a LOT of sugar nectar to allow the flower siphons to pick up the liquid. So, I wasted nectar mix and found myself having to dump dead ants out of the feeder. Again, pretty, but not useful.

The birds love it
I have purchased three or four of these from various vendors - the gasket eventually goes. The birds love them. I will say that the light never works but it's fine. The important thing is that the birds love it.

Attracts the Hummingbirds
I have had this 3 seasons, and it attracts a steady supply of hummingbirds. (MA Metro West) The wide mouth top makes it easy to clean by hand or.in the dishwasher. (Some ants and bees make it inside and drown) i have put the rubber flower piece in the dishwasher on the top rack without issues. During this last season, I did get some rust on the lid - I will paint it next spring

Perfect for hungry hummingbirds!
This is an adorable addition to our outdoor haven for all species of birds. This jar is the perfect size for the nectar. The red “flowers “ and shiny aluminum cover are both attractive and add function, stability and sturdiness to this feeder. No squirrels are allowed access to the sweet food with the covered screwed on top. The shine of the cover glimmers in the morning sunlight and attracts the birds. We look forward to watching the hummingbirds as they feed in our yard!

Poor design. Hummers would not feed from it.
Thought this would be a great feeder but I was wrong. First, the feeder portals did not extend down into the feeder. If the birds did feed as soon as the level was down to about half full the portals would not touch the food. Second, there was no perch for the birds to land on. They would have to hover all the time while they fed. The birds do hover to eat but the perch is used frequently in my experience. Thirdly, the feeder leaked sugar water making a mess on the floor. Finally, the birds did not feed from it preferring another traditionally design hanging next to the mason jar feeder. To their credit the supplier credited my account promptly when I returned the feeder.

Not the best option
These aren't bad hummingbird feeders, that is until you hang up those solid red glass ones. I bought a couple of these globes last spring, and I just thought we didn't have many hummingbirds here at our new place. I hung up some dark red glass ones a couple weeks ago though, alongside these, and I've got little hummingbirds flitting all around them. So happy with those dark red ones that I bought another set of them to accommodate all the hummingbirds that have shown up! If I had it to do again I wouldn't buy these. :/ They're so pretty though, that I'll find somewhere to hang them where they'll get some use.
