I scrutinized over what bathroom rug to buy. I wanted to get rid of the area rug in our bathroom that wasn't washable. I'm so glad I purchased this one, and the largest one they had goes just beyond the length of our bathtub. It's super soft, and very absorbent. It has some grippiness on the bottom, but it doesn't seem very thick. Because of that I went ahead and left the protective mat from the previous rug underneath of it, just to protect our wood floor from any water damage. But so far any splashage that hits the rug doesn't seem to go through the bottom of the rug. I've also put it through the washing machine and dried it on low, and it come out wonderful and fresh every time. It doesn't appear to have shrunk. Very pleased with this purchase! And I got the matching rug that goes around the toilet too. We ended up purchasing this style of rug for our other bathrooms too.
