If you are playing jiu-jitsu, this is better than other wrestling headgear. It's a soft material and you can adjust the size

Broke first time using it.

I bought 2 of these for my teenage sons to replace the bulky plastic ones that the school provides. They are easy to adjust to any size and fit comfortably over their ears. They stay on during their matches without getting into their eyes. The best part for this mama is that they are easy to hand wash in the sink and hang up to dry. (No more stinky teen smell)

I bought these because my ears were getting beat up in BJJ, but I wasn’t sure which style I wanted. I didn’t want to spend $30+ on a more expensive set until I knew whether I was going to be able to use them successfully in BJJ, so I tried these due to the price. I have used them around 10 times which would be drilling and full rolling and they are definitely saving my ears. I found them to be reasonably comfortable, BUT when they would get hot and wet, they stretched ALOT! I have an average size head and initially I was able to get them to fit, but as I used them, they stretched and I started running out of Velcro. They got to where they were moving too much when I was grappling, which wasn’t much of an issue when they were new. I considered sewing in more Velcro so I could tighten them enough, but since I had shown headgear worked for me, I ordered some Cliff Keen Fusion. I would say if you have a giant head or are willing to do some modifying they would last longer, but you can get a very similar design that I appears to be better quality with the MatMan.
