Salt Water Taffy Every Color (Assorted, 1 Pound (Pack of 1))

Perfect flavors, colors, and texture just like I remember from my own childhood. Only problem is with the blue raspberry which seem to melt in transit. They squish out of their wrappers and glue candies around them into clumps. I was able save most of the clumped candy but it took some patience. I think It's the coloring that .akes the candy softer and easier to squish. Other colors squish too sometimes but not nearly as bad as the blue ones. I suggest putting fewer blue raspberry and even red cinnamon (OMG!!! They are HOT!!! but not in a good way). I like cinnamon but one is enough to keep me away for a couple days. The girls refuse to try them after seeing my reaction. I thought the red would be cherry. I WISH!!! Anyway evidently I'm pretty funny when my mouth is on fire. The girls thought so ... kids these days ... ooops, that was my mother coming thru.

These are very good quality salt water taffy! Each piece is perfectly soft and chewy. Surprisingly did not even stick to my teeth, like other taffies have previously done. Each flavor was deliciously on point. The cinnamon flavored are amazing! Warning: very addictive; very happy with my purchase.

A nice variety of flavors and great for getting moisture to a dry mouth because of medication and sickness. The taffy became warm during shipping so they had to go into the refrigerator. It did not spoil the taste or texture of this candy. But they have not come out of the fridge since to ensure the integrity of this product. They are a little hard but warm up nicely in the mouth quickly.

Was expecting so much more after looking at several salt-water taffys on Amazon, I chose this one for it's higher rating. But I chose wrong. I thought the salty part would be noticeable, which I love, but it was just sweet, even though the flavors are good, I thought the slight salty taste of Saltwater taffy would come thru. Nope. Just sweet. Not as chewy either, more pufy in texture. The Trader Joes one, strangely is lower-rated yet the bag I bought at their store was good compared to these but lacking in vaiety of flavors however could taste the salt in those! I bought 3lbs, and will finish them, but wont re-order. The one bright spot was the fruity flavors were good but not enough of those and too many bland ordinary flavors. Go for the straight fruity blend.

As a child growing up along the coast of the Atlantic Ocean we were always able to obtain salt water taffy and so when I ordered this I kept my fingers crossed that it would be just as tasty and delicious as I remembered it as a kid growing up. This product was perfect and didn't disappoint in still rocks the taste buds and brings back my childhood memories.

I wish I had heeded the low reviews. This taffy is horrible. The flavors do not taste as they should. Most of mine are melted together. I put them in the fridge like someone suggested. Yet there is still a big mess. I don't live where it is extremely hot so I don't find much reason for the taffy to be melted together. You've heard the expression "it was so horrible my dog wouldn't eat it' well my dog loves candy but she absolutely refused to eat this taffy. She doesn't get a lot of candy very often. That should say something right there. I question why the reviews are so extreme. Why are some buyers think this is the best taffy ever while others like me found it to be well, rather disgusting and certainly disappointed. You are taking a 50/50 chance on whether you will have a good batch or not. I wish now that I didn't take those odds and just saved my money. Into the trash this bag goes!

bought this for a friend ans she love the taffy

I'd never had salt water taffy before in my life, only the Wonka's Laffy Taffy and its awful. My coworker's kept talking it up saying it was the greatest thing ever, so I looked it up, a coworker helped me pick this particular bag. Thanks to prime, it arrived within a few days. I brought them to work and tried one. The first I picked was licorice flavored. I don't usually like licorice, but this was actually pleasant. I think I only got to try 5 flavors, I had 8 pieces total from the whole bag. My coworkers tore into them and only left a handful of candy in the bag. I rolled the bag up, and stashed it at my station hoping to try the other flavors later. By the end of my shift when I was gathering my things, I noticed one of my coworkers through my peripheral vision sneak the bag of candy into her purse. While both appalled and amused, I didn't say anything and let her have it (she was pregnant and craving stuff like crazy). Lesson learned: be careful with this candy. While super delicious, it is also super addictive!
