I’ve used plenty of wall plugs over the years, but the Fischer DuoPower 8x65 is easily one of the best. The two-component design is genius—it expands, folds, or knots depending on the material, so it grips super well in concrete, brick, and even softer materials like plasterboard. ✅ What I Like: ✔ Strong Hold – No wobbling or slipping, even with heavier loads. ✔ Versatile – Works great across different surfaces without needing to guess which type of plug to use. ✔ Easy to Install – Goes in smoothly and grips tight when you screw in. ⚠️ Minor Downsides: Make sure you get the right hole size for the best grip. Instructions on box are a bonus. Overkill for very light fixings – Might be more than you need for simple jobs. Advised not to use cutter type screws. Overall, this is a top-quality, no-fail wall plug that I’ll keep stocked in my toolbox. Highly recommend for both DIYers and professionals!

Needed to use this in 4"x 4" wooden frame of a 7ft x 5ft Table. They are Superb! & I wasn't sure if they'd be good enough-but I needn't have fretted; they proved absolutely AMAZING. 😉 I loved the GRIP STRENGTH, the fine detailing of their FINISH; NO ROUGH PRODUCTION SNAGS OR MOULDING WEAKNESSES TO CLIP OFF or cut yourself on and their seating is accurate and easy. 1) Durable, well made and lived up to their description and hype/ blurb. NO let down or wasted monies here. 2) Price point; is very good considering the multiplicity of tasks they're suitable for frankly 3) Simple item but VERY WELL DESIGNED & I will be using them as a go to item for much of my DIY tasks without question. No Negatives for me, so provided you look at your task, the substrates your using them & their given suitability in terms of seating,expansion etc...and the load bearing demands of the task & naturally the safety required carefully; these are an incredible litte tool in your DIY arsenal. OVERALL I consider these a very positive solution if you are using your brains and plan carefully what you're doing and even who you're doing it for. I ALREADY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO MY MATES & I hope my confidence in their use encourages you to benefit from their flexible application in your own hands.😊

I’ve bought and used these before and they work really well. Work slightly different to other wall plugs but gives a great grip in a wide variety of materials. Just make sure you follow their instructions. They tell which drill bit size to use; it’s written on the side of the plug as well as on the box. Drill the hole deeper than the plug length; again on the box for min. length. Clean out the hole, brush or vacuum. Use the right size of screw, which must be long enough, longer than the plug; again details on the box. Great product. Photos are general Fischer Duo but show how much I trust them.

Ideal for heavy loads

Needed longer plugs, these were very good quality when used, no issues with fitting and screws.

Bought these for a great price, they replaced some cheap standard plugs that had fallen out and dropped a coat rack (admittedly it never felt too secure). These were fitted in March and the coat rack has shown no sign of moving. These seem to be very high quality but did not cost much at all.

Great for hanging heavy duty items. Love the multi use ability. They are big so won’t get used often unless it’s heavy duty.

I recently used the fischer DuoPower plugs while installing shelves in my living room, and I’m thrilled with how well they performed! These plugs are incredibly versatile; I used them in both concrete and drywall without any issues. The dual-material design really makes a difference—once they’re in place, they hold on tight. I did find that they require a bit more force to install compared to standard plugs, but the extra grip is totally worth it for my heavier shelves. If you're looking for reliable anchors that can handle a variety of materials, I highly recommend giving these a try! You won't be disappointed.

Wie gewohnt von Fischer großartige Qualität und Vielfältigkeit für den Einsatzzweck da wir nicht wussten welches Material unsere Wand hat, haben wir statt der mitgelieferten Fischer UX Dübel 8x50mmm lieber diese hier genommen (8x65mm) und Edelstahlschrauben 6x80 Panhead dazu gekauft, denn die Schränke wurden in Deutschland hergestellt und zusammengebaut von Hand im Werk und die Qualität ist so gut, dass das Mitgelieferte Befestigungsmaterial dem dann doch nicht ganz gerecht werden konnte, finde ich zumindest, die Schrauben (nur 2/3 Gewinde) hatten keinerlei Rostschutz waren einfach im Rohzustand weder verzinkt noch brüniert etc. Küche ist öfter mal feucht deshalb auf Nummer sicher gehen bei solch tollen Küchenschränken (in Schwarz Matt übrigens aus der "Touch" Reihe) und massiven Edelstahlgriffen. Ach ja und an Dübel und Schrauben sollte man generell nicht sparen. Empfehlung von mir uneingeschränkt für diese Produkt.
