Wonderful product when nothing else works
I always never leave a review. But this product is so effective that I am compelled to give a 5 star review. I tried close to every anti inch shampoo on the market, and also prescribed shampoo by a standby doctor who was not my usual dermatologist. Nothing worked. I finally got to see my dermatologist and explained to her what I had tried and she recommended this shampoo as well as prescribed topical cream. The cream was on back order so I only used this shampoo. After 1 application, I felt some relief. After 3 applications, all itchiness gone. I did not even apply the cream as a result. Yes, this shampoo smells but it's a small price to pay. I only applied it to the affected area, not the whole head so the odor was not too obvious. Now I only use it when I got a flare up. To me, this shampoo is godsend.

Great stuff
Really good stuff, keeps the dandruff away. I use it two-three times a week and have no dandruff at all!

Good shampoo with some issues
I really like this shampoo but the smell and lather bother me somewhat. I find myself frequently having to shampoo twice in order to get clean hair. However, it does a good job keeping my scalp healthy and dandruff free. Plus it is very cheap- just remember to really shake the bottle before use

It works
I’ve bought this multiple times. It’s similar to t-gel and works well. The smell is tar, but unlike t-gel the smell in this goes away if you wash and condition your hair right after using it. Definitely wait the 10 minutes. Multiple psoriasis people in my family use it.

Best Dandruff Shampoo I've Ever Tried - Super Effective
I've tried countless different dandruff shampoos over 30+ years. Some are moderately effective, but most are just lousy at controlling dandruff. Clark's Full Spectrum Dandruff Shampoo is the real deal; it not only controls dandruff flakes, it also reduces itching and scalp inflammation. This product is one of the few things I've purchased recently that actually exceeded expectations. While Clark's doesn't smell good, it doesn't smell bad. I've used coal tar dandruff shampoos for years that smell far worse and produce lesser results. Given how effective Clark's is, I can accept the fact it doesn't smell like mint, or cedar, or some other synthetically produced perfume.

Failed.
I read reviews before buying, several. Yes it does stink! Problem; the odor does not wash out, but worse is it does not stop the itching, it does not get rid of flakes. Sorry to say a waste of money. I’m not sending this useless shampoo back, I trashed it. The shampoo that I use was so effective. Immediately after applying to my head my scalp started tingling. Best of all was the immediate itch relief. Yes there was an odor but after rinsing & applying a conditioner the odor was gone as were the flakes & no more itching. Only reason I tried this shampoo was because they are price gouging on the mentor I used. Unfortunately I’m going to have to pay the ridicous price to get it. But at least it works. UPDATE: The back of my neck around hairline is burned, not blisters but like 2nd degree sunburn from this Clark’s shampoo. Please be careful if you choose to try it.

Sensitive skin here, I was allergic.
The smell (that people are often complaining about) wasn't actually as bad as I thought it would be. I saw someone describe it as a tire factory, and that's pretty accurate, but it's not overwhelming. The issue for me is that I'm allergic to the formula. The first wash left my scalp swollen and tender to the touch, and it took a few days to go away. I spot treated after that, and the area burned and was sensitive so I just put this product down for good. It might work, but I didn't really get the chance to find out because I'm allergic to it and it was causing more problems than it solved.
