CAMVATE Multi-Function Mounting Plate Cheese Plate with 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 Connections - 1751

I got these along with a few magic arms with C clamps to mount peripherals to my chair. for each plate, I used 2 of the clamps to mount this to my chair, then the I mounted 2 magic arms to this plate. This has worked out perfectly for me. Everything is staying where I put it with just a little movement when I put weight on the peripherals.

This is a quality product - well made and light weight. Enough holes for various configurations.

Useful for mounting transceiver heads to your vehicle. Also purchased ASIN #'s B078ZF2W39 & B0DGZHTVKG (Screw converter/adapter & Lido mount) to mount the heads. Still a bit of work to mount in my vehicle. Awaiting additional parts. Will update with additional photos after installation. Second photo is after mounting the FTX-1 and FTM-510 in the truck.

Before I purchased the Nikon Z50 camera, I did a lot of research online, but I never found much information about how users addressed the problem of interference between the flip-down screen, the FTZ adapter, and an L-bracket or even an ordinary arca-swiss plate mounted on the bottom of the camera. I tried mounting an arca plate on the FTZ adapter, but then I couldn't remove the adapter without taking off the plate. If the arca plate is mounted on the camera body, then it gets in the way of the flip screen as well as taking the FTZ adapter off and on. This Camvate cheese plate turned out to be nearly the ideal solution! I mounted the cheese plate to the camera body, and then my L-bracket to the cheese plate. This gives enough room for taking the FTZ adapter on and off without blocking the battery door. (The alternative solution blocks the battery door.) The Camvate cheese plate still does not allow the flip screen to be used for selfie mode, but I have no need for that function.

I mounted my DSLR in a camera bracket which no longer allowed access to my camera's battery. I was able to use this product to offset the camera's position on the bracket enough to have access to change the battery without removing camera from bracket each time.

Great for making camera rig. Seems to be made well.
