They're pin headers with 2.54 mm spacing; in colors! Decent quality, I would buy these again!

It's a good assortment of headers, pins and sockets. This is for boards, not so much for cable-ends, though one could improvise a cable end connector with these. The only trouble with these is that for the female socket strips, cutting it down to size requires crushing and sanding away one of the sockets, but that's no fault of the product, it's just the way it works, and all similar products are the same way. They are cheap enough that I don't care, but I've seen people complain about it. I've used these in several projects and fixes, and they have performed wonderfully.

Ample pieces and really makes projects look good

I used these to color-coordinate the TX, RX, and I2C pins on a prototype arduino mega shield I am making. I'm sure I'll be using them a lot in the future. My only complaint is that there are not color matching female headers available.
