My ficus tree always drops leaves in the fall, but I decided to try and make it less stressful by providing a good plant light during the winter months. After some searching I found this light, which is tall enough to provide light from up above. It's very nice looking in my living room, not too bright, and fits well with my decor. Very easy assembly, and the instructions for setting the light and timer were very easy to understand. My ficus is still losing leaves, but after a couple of weeks of using this light, it has really tapered off to only a few leaves a day, and none of them have been discolored. There's plenty of new growth on the tree. I consider this a resounding success!!! Really well made light, balanced nicely on the stand, looks great in the room, and works perfectly for the tree. Highly recommended!

I love the decorative design, visual appeal and physical quality. I bought two of these and they arrived on time. It was easy to assemble and they give off bright light like morning sunshine. I think my plants will be happy. I only gave 3 stars because the timer switch on of them doesn't work. Edit: They quickly resolved the issue. Excellent customer service!

The solar light is made from high grade quality material/parts & easy to assemble. It works as described on Amazon website. My only question is the LED bulb life span & if you can purchase a replacement. I'm setting it on a 4 hour cycle in hopes that the bulb will last longer than if I use the 8 or 12 hour cycle. When the bulb quits working (it's such a quality item @ a such a reasonable price), I'll purchase another one. It's "made in China." Why can't we produce something similar in the U.S.!

I just received my Majestic Palm on the first day, I received my HMVPL 40WATT GROW LIGHT on the next day now i'm no where new to grow lights as a matter fact I already run few 10" Halo Grow Lights yes 10" Halo Grow Lights pushing out 65000K and yes 65000K that's equal to the color HID head lights a nice light purple/blue color at about 20watts but as soon as I ignited the new HMVPL 40WATT GROW LIGHT about an hour later my palm trees leaves started to reached for the light you could tell they actually moved in that hour and I missed it, lol but this light is so impressive with its 4000k color its more of a white/incandescent look but what's so amazing about this look it makes the plant look 3D yes 3D its really freaky on the eyes and yet the light does not hurt your eyes what so ever! And also I notice I must have a new upgraded model because the wire looks like its a heat resist electric wire not a raping and my plant is in the first stage I have not yet put the Self Watering Pot, Sand, Clay, Diatomaceous Earth Etc... on the plant yet so I will send a updated picture in a few weeks so that you can see how bolden and powerful this light can muster up if it keeps up what I seen in this first hour in a few weeks Sending this light back because of its con! Well its been a week so I will give you the con's and pros of this light Pro's: this light is very well made and is nothing short of amazing 1. the light is a pure light so pure makes your plants look 3D 2. this light will also though out heat so the plant can even feel the warmth of humidity 3. this light is pretty heavy making it more then very well bult 4. your plant really will grow and look more healthier then the halo lights Con's 1. the pole is tall but on carpet it is a little unstable 2. when angling on plants it has more of a diagonal light flow making it ideal for more of a book end type lighting with a light on either side being able to handle more then a few plants! In turn I am sending only this model back because im not really am not going to have a huge array of plants just one in each corner of my living room and to huge plants in the middle on each the side of my living room so I have already ordered the same light but in the ceiling type fixuture so that I can have it straight directly on top of the Majestic Palm plant using all its light pattern

Works great in low lighting, plant is thriving and has an adjustable hight height

Buyer beware: another unregulated product from china. I had this on a timed 12/12 schedule for my houseplants. It turned on twice, each time BURNING HOT. Then it shorted out. Thank goodness I was home, this is a fire hazard. Please reconsider your purchase, much safer products out there.

When I purchased this light I was initially sent one that didn’t work. Amazon exchanged that lamp for a new one. The lamp is hard to put together. It requires two people and you have to be careful not to pull on the cord too hard. But once it is assembled it looks great. It gave plenty of light to my plants and I loved how tall it was. Unfortunately, as of today it will no longer turn on. When I hit the power button it flashes and goes out. So this lamp barely lasted 4 months for me. You’re better off getting a floor lamp and a nice grow bulb that can be replaced as needed. Update: The company reached out to me to offer a full refund or a replacement. Due to their great customer service I’m changing my review to three stars instead of one.

This lamp exceeded my expectations. It’s very effective, my plants that were sitting in a dark corner of my living room getting sad have since bounced back to life thanks to this lamp. It looks and feels very sturdy, the metal it’s made from is heavy and screws together nicely, very good quality. The timer works perfectly, I selected the 12 hr cycle and it turns itself on and back off every day right on schedule, so I don’t have to remember to. It stands straight up and doesn’t lean to one side like a lot of floor lamps tend to. The lamp is beautiful, it doesn’t look like most plant lights do, it looks like a regular floor lamp. I’m very happy with this purchase.

Exactly as described. Great quality materials. Simple installation. Minimalistic design. Bright light. Adjustable height and 360 rotation of lamp bulb. Simple cycle timing. Would be great if light had dimmable option but regardless it’s an awesome product. Definitely recommend for you grow light needs

Perfect lamp for my needs. Easy to set up, took 5 minutes. Most grow lights are an ugly design, but this minimalist design will fit with any decor. Not sure why reviews are saying it’s not adjustable, as it’s perfectly adjustable to any height you want. At its tallest setting, it reaches plants most other grow lights fail to reach.
