This is one of the true classics from the house of Vostok, Russia. This very famous Vostok Amphibia "Scuba Dude" is a dive watch, able to withstand 200 Meters of water resistance. It has a patented 2 piece cashback which is invented by Russian watchmakers in which the watch becomes more and more waterproof the deeper it goes. It is a mechanical, autimatic watch which means it works either on the movement or the wrist or by winding. No battery is required. It has a beautiful domed crystal (glass). However the crystal is acrylic and prone to getting scratches over time. The bezel is also not ceramic and probably plastic which will get scratches. It is a non clicking bezel so cannot be used to time dives, but can be used day today to time regular stuff. Case is stainless steel and the watch as as solid as they come. Vostok boasts a service life of 10 years for this watch, after which the movement may require a normal service. Size is a decent 49 mm. Quick a think and chunky timepiece with some heft to it. Needed a vostok for my collection. Watch is good. The only problem is applied square around the date. It doesn't have all the sides i.e. only three sides applied around date window instead of four shown in the picture. Probably a quality control issue. Also packaging could have been a little bit better.

Came with loose minute hand, it revolves loosely.
