I’ve been using this Body Cream for some time now, and it’s made a huge difference on my keratosis pilaris skin. The lactic acid gently exfoliates while the ceramides keep my skin hydrated all day. I love that it absorbs well and isn’t greasy. Although the dark patches are still present, my skin felt noticeably smoother, especially on rough areas like arms and elbows after using this for few weeks. I believe with time the dark spots will also fade since 15% lactic acid present can gently exfoliates the skin.

At the tail end of a three-year long adult eczema flare up, this is what's finally allowed my skin to receive moisture deep enough to properly heal. I first tried lactic acid on my face for other reasons, but when I noticed improvements to my skin texture I came across this cream for my body, specifically my back where my eczema has been worst. The doctor told me to keep slathering emollient creams onto it, but none of them penetrated the surface enough to make any difference and just made my skin barrier very greasy. This one has changed that in weeks and allows moisture to get right into the skin instead of sitting on the top.

very good, bought twice, would rebut again

I'm giving this cream 3 stars only because when I received my order yesterday in the height of summer it says on the pot and I quote "Sunburn Alert: this product contains an alpha hydroxy acid that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards". No where does it say anything about this on the description before I bought it. So now it's in the cupboard and won't get used until the autumn winter months!

Recommended by my dermatologist for dry skin. It works fine --- the skin on my legs is softer and smoother than it's ever been. But-and the first 1/4-1/2" of cream smelled like ammonia. Now I've gotten further down in the jar, the smell has gone away. Yay!!
