Hey all, quick shoutout to the packaging team. The resealable bag is clutch for keeping kibble fresh day to day. Product team, stellar work. This food smells surprisingly good out of the bag. I was half-tempted to try a kibble myself because it reminded me of KFC. I switched from Purina Pro Puppy after my pup started turning his nose up at it. With Hill’s Science Diet Large Breed Puppy Chicken & Brown Rice, he cleans the bowl and comes back looking for more. I was worried about his growth before. Now I feel a lot better seeing steady appetite and energy. One request for the formulation team. Large breed puppies need consistent omega-3s, especially DHA, for brain and vision development. If the DHA and overall omega-3 content could be bumped up or communicated more clearly on the bag, it would help owners like me rely on this as an all-in-one without adding separate supplements. Overall I highly recommend this food for anyone with a puppy. It is a bit pricey. A more competitive price would make it accessible to more pet parents. Every pup deserves food that performs like this.

My husbands had two labs when we met, they were on science diet their whole life! The vet said it’s best not to keep changing the type of food you give your dogs, pick one and be faithful with it. So that’s what he did. Both of those dogs lived to be 17 years old! We got a new pup and she will be on Science diet for her entire life as well! Feed your dog quality food so they can live longer!

Best darn dog food!! Even my vet uses it. Smell and appearance are good. My dogs heath even got better after putting her on it. Highly recommend

Muy buen producto, llego en buen estado y a tiempo

Lo siento mucho por los dueños que dijeron que sus cachorros tuvieron diarrea. Estamos en proceso de cambio y noto heces un poco más blandas, pero es normal con cualquier cambio de dieta. ¡A mi cachorro Rottie de 10 semanas parece encantarle! Estamos cambiando de Purina Pro Plan. Lo alimento a mano y parece preferir las Hills. Mi única queja es que las croquetas son un poco grandes para su boquita. Le remojo la comida, así que no es tan malo. Pero son mucho más grandes de lo que está acostumbrado y, a veces, me preocupa que se atragante. Además, es carísimo. No me imagino pagando tanto para alimentarlo toda la vida. Pero es bueno para su estómago y su salud en general, ¡así que vamos a intentarlo!

New puppy, breeder recommended this food. I was a little shocked at the cost but you get what you pay for. Hills has been around forever, vets on staff and most importantly the dog loved it! Have you read the ingredient label on some of this stuff we call Dog "food"?

A mi cachorro le empezó a dar alergia desde que cambiaron la receta (antes etiqueta roja, ahora verde). A parte de que desde el principio (con la de etiqueta verde) no las quiso, era muy difícil hacerlo comer.

C’est malheureux que la compagnie a augmenté autant ses prix ( plus de 100$/ sac pour à peine 5 à 6 semaines) . Nous avons passé à une autre marque plus acceptable pour notre budget surtout qu’on a deux chiens. Pour ceux qui ont plus d’argent , c’est tout de même une excellente nourriture qu’on a donné à notre bouvier bernois jusqu’à l’âge de 1 an et il se porte très bien!
