Great tool to have for a homeowner. It cuts PVC pipe clean and straight, with very little burs left on the pipe. Good price, too.

I've used these on up to 2" PVC, and they functioned as they should. They are the best cutters I've had.

Best way to cut PVC and Plex plumbing tubes. I wish I had tried this tool or one like it much sooner. I have been using hack saws and miter boxes for years. This produces much cleaner cuts with less effort. Well worth the cost,

I cut a 2 1/2 piece of PVC when it arrived. It went through like butter. It is in my work bag and hopefully it will last. Great price good grip. The latch to keep it close is week but I can deal with it.

I had a change to utilize this particular model, brand pipe cutter. I used the pipe cutter to cut pvc pipe, 1 1/2 inches. The pipe cutter fit my small hand which was great and it was easy to use. The 1 1/2 was easy to cut even for someone who does not have a lot of strength. What I did not like was if the pipe was not perfectly straight, the cut would not be straight. When I marked the pipe you could see where the pipe cutter was off the mark. Sometimes by a quarter of an inch, sometimes less. It would have helped if there was a laser to keep the cutters on center.

Much better than the saw I was using.

Not a professional grade but perfect for the handyman

I have had one of these that cuts 1.5" and always seemed to work great. This one cuts 2.5", aka 2-in pvc, and shows how much these cutters tend to NOT cut a straight line. This is especially true when cutting short pieces, cutting off small pieces, say 3" or less. I don't know if any of this type of cutter will replace my chop saw.
