Nice writer too
gorgeous pen. So small - I hadn't appreciated how slim and dinky it is from the picture. Nice writer too.

Stunning 'Little' Pen!
Amazing little pen, writes really nicely, smooth and clean, but even I was shocked at how small it is in the flesh!

Beautiful pen
An excellent pocket item - smooth writer. Very elegant. This is the fourth Kaweco fountain pen I've owned, all of which I've loved using.

Nice to hold, slightly scratchy to write with, too easy to lose
It was a lovely pen to hold. It looks great. Well designed and machined. The nib was a little scratchy (I had a medium and it was more like a fine) but not unusable. However, it's far too easy to lose as it has no clip and I lost mine within five days of ownership.

It is difficult to express the frustration of spending so much money on a writing tool, which does not write.
Could not wait to receive it. The pen is beautiful, compact and elegant. My kind of design and style. Just one problem - it does not write. Probably an issue with the nib, because it writes upside down. Maybe it's baby's bottom. Or maybe the tines are misaligned. So now, I have to buy micro mesh, work on the nib and hopefully get it to work. There are a number of solutions for non-writing Kaweco pens floating around - flushing, using brass sheet, polishing with micro mesh. As much as I love tinkering, this feels like a ripoff. If I want an IKEA pen, which I have to finish producing myself, I'll go to IKEA. Or at least include a piece of micro mesh in the box. What is even more infuriating is that I have a Lamy Al Star (half the price of the Liliput) with three nibs (B, F and EF). It writes perfectly. I also have a throwaway Pilot V Pen (costs only a few bucks). It also writes perfectly. The Kaweco Liliput costs more than all the other pens and nibs combined. And does not work. This is my second Kaweco product. Their compact and minimal design appeals to me, despite the high price. After this purchase, though, I am not buying anymore of their products. (UPDATE 16 July 2017) Really wanted to give this pen a chance and improve the rating on my review. Played with a micro mesh. Managed to get it working. Used with Kon Peki ink. However, it now writes like a broad. Planned to buy a Fine replacement nib, to get around this whole issue and somehow get some of my money's worth. Still considering it, because it feels like I'd be giving even more money to people who ripped me off once. Meanwhile, the Lamy and the Pilot V are writing like there's no tomorrow. Up to this point, the experience felt like buying an expensive BMW. Then going home and realizing the steel wheels are twisted and the car cannot move. So I have to either bang them out myself or order new ones. Contemplating binning it and just buying a Jinhao or two and a separate nib or nibs.
