Dried Hibiscus Flowers

These are some of the best dried hibiscus flowers i have ever eaten! The flavor is similar to cranberries, but not as tart, and more floral- like rose kind of (but without the perfumy taste). The texture is AWESOME! Just like dried papaya or guava. I eat these as is, but also like to add a flower to hot tea in leu of honey or sugar.

I normally love candied Hibiscus and even plain dried hibiscus for tea and cooking, but this was just awful. I just received the bag and ate one, and it was horrible, just like eating a chemical-laced piece of plastic with no other flavor to indicate it was actually hibiscus at all.There are just no redeeming qualities in this product at all if I could give it less than 1 star and still submit a review I would.

I have had dried candied hibiscus flowers before but the sugar used to make them was sparing allowing the natural flavor of the caylx to come through. This product has so much sugar it has literally crystallized the calyx and all you taste is sugar! I would not recommend this product if you are looking for something a little more natural with less sugar. This is way over processed with sugar.

I love dried hibiscus flowers. This brand is so sugary. All I taste is the sugar. I won’t buy again. But it is a nice size bag for the price.

What I really wanted to write in my review is apparently outside your guidelines. Very Good product. This is the best tasting Hibiscus product I have found.

I bought couple packages and one had mold on it. The package indicates it is good to use until Jan25, 2025.It is not eligible for return. So it makes it to risky to buy when it arrives with mold🤷🏻‍♀️Package is not open yet.

These dried hibiscus flowers are tasty, and the individual dried flowers have a nice texture to them, and so they are very enjoyable to eat. Also, you get a whole lot of flowers in the bag. My only issue with these is that they are very sweet, on account of the added sugar. The sweetness is not necessarily my concern though, it is the added sugar that becomes the issue, especially because the bag does not specify how much sugar exactly you're consuming when you eat this.Bottomline: these are tasty, but could maybe use less added sugar, and with better nutritional information guidance for sugar per serving.
