Son loves it. The price is a disgrace however. Saw same item at Walmart for 5$.

TL;DR: Sturdy little Batman and Harley figures with a simple color-change gimmick that kids keep coming back to. I picked up this Fisher-Price Imaginext Batman and Harley Quinn color changer set for my younger ones, and it has been one of those small toys that earns its spot in the bin. The figures feel solid and have that chunky, durable style Imaginext is known for, so I am not worried about arms snapping off or pieces breaking when they get tossed around. The big hook here is the color changing feature. You dunk them in warm or cold water and their suits change, which is such an easy concept, but my kids think it is the coolest thing. They experiment with different temperatures, half dunking them, then arguing over who gets to “switch” Batman back. The little canister it comes with is more useful than it looks. It keeps the water in one spot instead of them raiding my kitchen bowls, and it doubles as a pretend “chemical vat” when they start telling stories. From a parent side, I like that it encourages simple storytelling instead of just staring at a screen. They mix these figures in with their other Imaginext sets and instantly come up with “Gotham in trouble” scenes. Batman gets “frozen,” Harley gets “powered up,” and on and on. The paint has held up well through several rounds of water play, and the joints still move smoothly. Nothing feels flimsy or like it is going to loosen immediately. Cleanup is just a quick towel dry and standing them up to air out, and they are ready to go again later. If you already have Imaginext in the house, this is a nice little add on that gives them more characters and a fun twist with the color change. It is the kind of small set that makes a great reward, stocking stuffer, or just a random “you did great today” surprise, and it actually gets used. Tip: After water play, stand the figures on a towel with their arms raised so water drains out of the joints and they last longer. Hope this helps! =)
