My cats really enjoy this food. It has a fresh aroma and they get excited when I bring it out. The crunchy kernels are pebble size and made with good ingredients. It has Chicken, rice, egg, pea, carrots, apples and lots of vitamins. It has a good Phosphorous level at 1.0, which I look at for my cat's urinary tract, but not low enough if you're looking for food for a cat with kidney problems. It has high fiber which helps with the hairballs. The crude protein is average. It meets the AAFCO* standards, which is something I look for. If the food meets the AAFCO standards, AAFCO recognition will be somewhere on the bag like the picture. *AAFCO, the Association of American Feed Control Officials, is a non-profit organization that designed standards to protect consumers and animals. AAFCO itself does not regulate, test, or approve pet food; rather, it provides the standards that most states voluntarily adopt as their pet food laws. AAFCO creates nutrient profiles that define the minimum and, in some cases, maximum levels of essential vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients for pet food. AAFCO sets rules for the information that must appear on pet food packaging, such as the ingredient list, guaranteed analysis (percentages of nutrients like protein and fat), and a "nutritional adequacy statement"

December 21/2025 I really hate to say this, but two of my cats coats have become so bad while on this food that we're going to have to get them professionally groomed! That makes me a nervous wreck because I don't trust people not to abuse our babies. Their coats are all matted and greasy! One cat is four years old and the other is five years old, and I have never had to get them groomed before. Their coats were never greasy or matted. I'm glad that Amazon cancelled my subscription: I found that out when I went to cancel it myself. I'm switching to Iams for urinary issues because now our male peed in the sink in front of me and he's only ever done that when he had a UTI. I can't back my claims up with evidence, but it's an awfully big coincidence that my cats are having issues that they never had before except for the boy getting a few UTIs in the past and that was because of stress when he caught fleas and is very allergic. There's no fleas here so why is he peeing in the sink now? I was so happy when I came across this food. I've been looking for a good food without a lot of extra ingredients that is more affordable. The small bags are no problem since I can order more than one, and they're easier on my weak tendons. This is my first Amazon subscription. That's how happy I am to find this food. The cats are being slowly transitioned and they dig through their other food to pick this one out so it's definitely cat approved. I believe this is a very good food. Purina has been around forever and done more feeding trials than any of the new brands.

This is getting harder to find from everywhere, I hope you keep selling it! It's all my cats will eat.

I like the ingredients better than most comparable brands in this price range. Purina Naturals has a lot of corn, which I avoid in cat food. Wish it didn't have pea but I'll go with that rather than corn. Also nice sized kibbles vs. Purina Naturals which has very small kibbles. I look for meat ingredients for the first ingredients rather than non-meat, and some even have corn as first ingredient Friskies, Meow Mix etc., which I pass on.

I have 4 cats and they all LOVE this food. One of them has allergies and this is the only food that will keep her from pulling her hair out. They’ve been eating this food for years (I’ve probably bought 1000lbs of it) and my girls have never lost interest. They gobble it up and try to find loose pieces laying around lol. Quality is always great, packaging is thick and sturdy, doesnt rip and keeps the food fresh. I will forever buy this food!!!
