Very luxe packaging, these collagen ‘shots’ are marine in origin, and provide Type 1 collagen which is best for looking after skin, hair and nails. Also included in this mix, alongside the impressive dose of collagen, are other supplements such as vitamin K, folic acid and selenium. The flavour is reasonably pleasant compared to similar products I have tried, and the sachets convenient to pop in your bag to take on the go. Not cheap, but collagen supplements do tend to command a hefty price tag.

My partner is the one trying these out and thinks they're actually nice tasting and easily consumed. A little research shows that this product is pretty reputable and one of their products is endorsed by Amanda Holden and has been featured in magazines such as vanity fair and so on. The brand also has it's own website too selling a range of supplemental products. This gives me assurance that the brand is recognised and not some generic manufacturer. The ingredients of this supplement drink all seem to have beneficial properties to help skin hair and nails as well as other properties for helping the immune system, heart health etc etc. These arrived nicely packaged with a batch number and best before date on the box again reassuring that these are manufactured properly. I think the maker could do with putting the flavour at the front of the box tbh as at first we couldn't fathom what flavour these were. The flavour is printed on the back of the box! I've had a look at some of the reviews on the brands website and there is a lot of good reviews to back up the claims that this can be beneficial for both anti aging and the menopause. It's a bit hard at the moment to truly tell if this is doing anything as supplements can take a little while to start working but my other half is happy to keep taking this daily to aid her. When we consider the price for buying this at the usual price of just under £83 at time of review it works out at around £2.93 per day with the 28 sachet box or £2.57 per day if you opt for subscribe and save at just under £72 (at time of review) When we look at it like this then it's not too bad lol. I'm certain that this can have benefits given the price and quality and of course the huge following it seems to have so we'll see how things pan out with several weeks of use. The product comes in a striking purple box. This packaging is typical of the is sachets as well. Unfortunately, I couldn't test the product in the long term because it tastes so awful that I couldn't swallow it. It has a transparent yellowish color, and doesn't have a distinct smell. That's about all I can say about the product. I'm sorry that a product that is supposed to be premium has a taste that makes it unfit for consumption! I can't recommend it! I ordered this marine collagen supplement not for menopause, but for the potential cardiovascular properties. A 2022 meta-analysis (Jalili et al 2022: 'Effects of collagen peptide supplementation on cardiovascular markers') concluded that collagen peptide supplementation can improve blood pressure and blood cholesterol and reduce body fat mass. I have high blood pressure and genetic high cholesterol, so I ordered this collagen supplement to see if it will impact on those markers. The box I received had 28 sachets of pineapple and coconut flavoured supplement. I've attached pics giving the ingredients and nutritional info. It's very easy to take, and the sharp coconut and pineapple is quite pleasant - there's a slight sliminess or gel-like texture, but that's easily ignored. I also tried it mixed into coconut water, and that was really very nice! At the current price of £77.89 for 28 sachets, it works out at under £3 per day, and if this were the only supplement taken, that's not too unreasonable even though it seems like a lot. However, I don't think it's great value, and have docked a star accordingly. Would I buy again? Probably not personally, if only because collagen supplements are much more cheaply available, and I'm already taking a multi-vitamin and don't want to overdo any of the vitamins. However, as a one-stop supplement it's certainly worth considering.
