Go2 Robot Dog Quadruped Robotics for Adults Embodied AI (Go2 Pro)

AI DOG AWESOME!

The Unitree GO2 Pro quadruped robot dog is great. It (mostly) works as advertised. There are a few small skills that are obviously still in development, but nothing that gets in the way of using it. Around the house, I have used the LIDAR to map out my house, and the GO2 Pro can then walk from any location to a designated location autonomously. It's also fun to have it do various tricks for entertainment (see video as an example). Outside, I have taken it for a brisk walk (over a mile) and the side-follow works quite well most of the time (sometimes it gets confused where it is, probably due to wifi signal strength). The walk took longer than I expected because all my neighbors wanted to talk to me about it. Dogs seem to be bothered by it, but that is probably quite variable by breed and temperament. It can climb stairs; it's a bit clumsy doing so, but it definitely works. Note that a standard USA stair height exceeds the specification for what the manufacturer claims the robot can do. I have not told it to walk down stairs. It has a programming mode that is very well implemented and very easy to use. For example, you can tell it to walk forward 1 meter, jump forward, then sit down. Works perfectly. There are a lot of other commands available. I have only started to use the AI features, so I can't review that capability. But I know you can talk to it, tell it to do things, and it will execute your commands. You can say "walk around the house" and it will do that, just wandering around while using the obstacle avoidance LIDAR. It works well. There is probably a lot more to it than that, I just don't know yet. I am giving it 4 out of 5 stars because there are few little features that are still being developed, and it's not perfect. But it is very close to perfect, and it is a fun robotic hobby. I am very happy with this purchase.

This thing is not worth your money.. all it does is run into my walls and put dents in the sheetrock when you try the remote follow mode .. and it IS a toy. The ad makes it seem like it is autonomous.. it is not.. it is a remote control car or a drone with legs. In other words it needs a human to do anything. Zero stars.

Day one unboxing. Just getting used to a few little things. Already loving this. Not enough stars more than five. would definitely buy again!

This thing is amazing. Disappointed that it needs an internet connection for full AI functionality which costs extra, but that makes sense. It does a lot. My favorite is to have it take walks with me. This is not a toy.

Advance mode is always under maintenance. When will it be available

There is nothing in the policy nor description from Unitree that states you have to pay time fee for oversea use. Hidden cost and nothing you can do about it, you are stuck with product

Unitree , ein Traum wird wahr . Für Roboter Einsteiger ist das Produkt perfekt geeignet . Und schön ist er auch noch . Und die Verarbeitung ist sehr gut .

Muy sorprendido al tenerlo en marcha!! Recordar que está versión solo viene el robot sin el mando aunque puedes usar solo el móvil y sin el sistema que hace que te persiga solo.....
