I got them in case of an emergency. We had this year already 2 tornado warnings, like never before. We tried one just to see. All in the family liked it! Of course it is not like a home cooked meal but for emergency food with 30 years self life we where impressed.

These are tried and true. Went to the lake for a 1 night campout accessible only by boat and they were a huge hit. Will buy again. They are easy to cook and delicious. Also took some on a 72 mile Canadian canoeing trip. Someone brought readywise. We brought these. 6 nights later, there were only readywise options left. Mountain house won every night, no contest.

I try to keep some food on hand that I can eat incase the electric goes off or we go camping. This is very tasty and we have enjoyed it.
