Jacquard Acid Dye Starter Set

I used this to dye wool roving. It was simple to use and requires only the included citric acid as a mordant or white vinegar. A little bit of powder goes a long way and the results were vibrant.

Loved these dyes. Easy to use and vibrant colours. Managed to make pink, orange and green in the same dye bath by using the colour wheel chart provided therefore, zero wastage. Only suggestion is that it Would be helpful to have the directions in the package for easier access rather than locating on website.

This was the first time I tried dying the wool I use for felting. These dyes allowed for an exciting process and resulted in excellent results. The colours were brilliant and strong and the citric acid included ensures they remain that way. I was able to blend two basic colours for a third one that went beyond my expectations. These dyes are not inexpensive but a little goes a long way. I will buy more of the colours Jacquard offers and look forward to more adventures with them. It is a great way to get the colours one wants with the undyed wool one has available.

Ich bin sehr überzeugt von den Jacquard Farben, hab jedoch keine Erfahrungen mit anderen Herstellern. Daher auf jeden Fall für den Einstieg in's Wolle Färben geeignet. Ich habe Schaf-Wollstränge damit gefärbt und bin von den Verläufen und Mischfarben sehr überzeugt. Große Gefäße für eine kleine Menge Pulver, aber ich denke das ist immer so und das Pulver ist sehr ergiebig.

I have had great results dying some wool dresses to refresh my wardrobe without paying a ton of money. Nice even dye and the process was pretty simple.

Love the product. Beautiful colors. Just wish it had better instructions.
