Excellent budget monitor.
I'm a price-conscious consumer and I must say that I'm quite happy with this purchase. I do a lot of report writing and 3D CAD modeling, thus, my main criteria were price and form factor (ultrawide) and size (34''), and the LG 34WR50QC fit the bill perfectly. The colors are good, I'm not too worried with high frame rates (not a competitive gamer, 60+ is sufficient for me), but the 100 is quite satisfactory. Arrived well-packed and looked like it was handled with care. No dead pixels so far. I coupled it with a monitor arm, as I have a small desk, and to increase its adjustability. Overall, a satisfying purchase.

what an impressive bit of kit
Ive been running dual monitors for years and liked the idea of curved screen How right I was out of the box and so impressed. after a mild panic thinking you couldn't dual screen I fell on the info and downloaded the software to allow never mind dual screen but practically any permutation. It really does come in to kits own when on single screed and catching up on prime Netflix etc I love the seamless look and bang up to date

LG Monitor review (34WR50QC)
I recently purchased this monitor (34", 100hz | QHD, No speaker model) for ยฃ271.28 / โฌ311.25, on the 3rd of October, it said it would arrive by the 10th-16th yet it arrived on the 6th (so 4-10 days early, UK to Ireland), personally for the current price of 'โฌ379.42', I wouldn't recommend it, I'd wait for it to go on a discount so you could swipe one up for ~โฌ300 like me, my first impressions were quite solid, easy installation, good brightness, screen area and colour accuracy, when I first turned it on everything was stretched which was normal, it took me a decent while to configure it, I needed to switch it to the recommended resolution of 3440x1440, set the refresh rate to 100Hz and in the downloadable onscreen control app set the brightness to 100 contrast to 60 black stabiliser to 0 and the Adaptive sync to either off, basic, or what works best for me visually; extended, (This may vary depending on whether you're using Windows like me or not) keep in mind that changing any of the listed configurations may or may not result in screen stretching, black bars etc, just play around with the settings until you find the ones that suit you best, with my current config there is no screen stretching or low resolution It came with a HDMI and Display port cable for anyone with tight spaces, the full dimensions of the monitor are Without stand: 81cm in length, 36cm in height and about 4cm in depth (screen curve accounted for) With stand: 81cm in length, 48cm in height and 23cm in depth note: some games may not support wide monitors like this one like GTA V, if you want a normal experience in GTA V, you will need to play on these settings: Screen Type: Windowed Borderless Resolution: 3440x1440 (will depend on what resolution you're running at) Aspect Ratio: Auto/What works best for you Safezone Size: about less then half

It an excellent choice for its price, but I couldn't find a suitable monitor riser for this screen.

A Seamless Experience from Start to Finish!
I recently purchased the LG UltraWide Curved Monitor 34WR50QC, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. Here's why: ๐ Great Height & Lightweight: The monitor is perfectly elevated, making it comfortable for long hours of work or gaming. Plus, it's incredibly light, making setup a breeze. ๐ Plug & Play: I connected it to my MacBook Pro M1 through a docking station with a Display Port, and it was literally plug and play. No complicated configurations needed! ๐ฅ๏ธ Stunning Resolution: The 1440p resolution is nothing short of amazing. The colors are vibrant, and the clarity is exceptional. ๐ Fast Delivery & Excellent Seller: The seller was not only responsive but also ensured quick delivery. I was pleasantly surprised by how smooth the entire process was. ๐ MacBook Pro M1 Compatibility: It worked flawlessly with my MacBook Pro M1, making it a versatile choice for Apple users. In summary, this monitor has exceeded all my expectations. From its top-notch features to the excellent customer service from the seller, it's a 5-star product all the way!

Worked for less than 2 years
Was okay for 1 year and 8 months, now completely deadโpowers on but shows a blank screen. It's still under warranty, but nobody will compensate me for the hassle (packaging, returning, etc.). Really disappointed in LG. I expected better quality and longevity from what's supposed to be a reputable brand. Less than two years of use is unacceptable for a monitor that should last way longer, at least 10 years.

Impressive Visuals, Audio Letdown
The LG UltraWide Curved Monitor 34WR50QC undoubtedly delivers a stunning visual experience with its 34-inch display, 1440p resolution, and 100Hz refresh rate. The immersive curved design adds an extra layer of depth to the viewing experience, making it an ideal choice for both productivity and entertainment. The video and image quality are exceptional, thanks to the VA display and HDR 10 support. Colours are vibrant, and the high resolution ensures sharp details in both work applications and multimedia content. The 100Hz refresh rate provides smooth motion handling, making it suitable for gaming as well. However, the monitor falls short in the audio department. The in-built speakers, despite being a convenient feature, proved to be a disappointment. I encountered issues with the audio output, which led me to reinstall audio drivers on my computer, assuming the problem was on my end. Unfortunately, this did not resolve the issue. In an attempt to troubleshoot further, I connected the monitor to my PS4 to check if the audio problems persisted across different devices. Regrettably, the results were the same - no sound from the in-built speakers. This experience was particularly frustrating as the audio is an integral part of the overall multimedia experience. On a positive note, the monitor does come equipped with AMD FreeSync compatibility, enhancing the gaming experience by reducing screen tearing and stuttering. The inclusion of Displayport and HDMI ports provides versatile connectivity options for various devices. Despite the audio setback, the LG UltraWide Curved Monitor 34WR50QC stands out for its impressive visual performance and feature-rich design. If audio is not a critical factor for your needs, this monitor offers an immersive display for both work and play. However, for users who prioritize audio quality, it's advisable to invest in external speakers or headphones for a complete multimedia experience.

Love this monitor
Bought this monitor to improve my work. I mainly work on Excel for most of the day and this monitor has really helped as it can show so much more than a standard monitor. Because I was not using for gaming etc I wasn't too worried about some display specs and more interested in getting a decent sized curved screen for good value. This ticks all the boxes. Just one point, the stand doesn't allow you to adjust the height of the monitor from the table.
