Love This Thing
Makes the best cup of coffee. Most drip makers keep you adding boiling water but this one stores the water over the grounds until you are ready to dispense. Easy to take along with you, anywhere. My second purchase. Originally purchased from Zulily.

I hoped it was 5 stars and yet it still seems like a very good tea and coffee infuser!
I have used several tea infusers that are also able to be used for coffee infusers. This infuser glass does work for coffee and it works pretty good. I think that it should have come with a base so the cup can be placed onto a plastic base rather than direct on the counter. I was able to use the base from an older infuser though since I had that available. Also, it uses a push button and I think those wear faster than the cups that use a push up and gravity fed release stopper. The cup has worked great for both coffee and tea thus far. Some cups are not able to drain the coffee but this cup has a wider design for the filter mesh that allows the coffee to push to the sides and so it is working very good for both coffee and tea. I think the plastic could be a little thicker and that also the lid could be a little bit better and more removable. I prefer to have the lid not attached to the cup. It says it is a 19.5 ounce cup and so I also checked the fluid ounces for the cup and the cup I received looks like the cup in the picture and yet it holds just 16.5 fluid ounces and that is around 17 ounces! I think there are just two choices with a tea infuser or coffee infuser that can do coffee for the filter mesh screen and that is a screen that is more elevated so the coffee grounds disperse over more surface area that way or a wider mesh screen such that they are able to be dispersed across more surface area via the wider filter mesh screen for the grounds. This cup uses a wider mesh and it works pretty good. It might have a longevity issue from the screen being too weak in the support structure and yet I do not know how long it will last because of that and the quality of the plastic and also because it is a push button release infuser glass. I would like this infuser to continue to evolve and hope that a 17.8 fluid ounce version with higher quality components and a five spoke support filter screen mesh that is just a pinch wider and with that extra support going from 3 spokes to 5 spokes in terms of the screen carriage it should be quite a bit stronger. I wonder if a nonstainless steel mesh is possible if the infuser mesh is made that way and that it continues to support both coffee and tea. Anyways, it was tough to rate this because of some of the concerns and also being that mine holds just 16.5 fluid ounces and yet it works and so I gave it 4 out of 5 stars! I hope this cup continues to evolve. It's a nice version of the infuser glasses. Thank you.

Single Serve Simplicity
I was turned on to mini-brewers for loose leaf teas when I got my first Adagio Teas 16 oz. ingenuiTEA. So convenient! The BonJour Smart Brewer follows in a similar tradition with its own little twist. Instead of automatically dispensing when placed on a mug or tea cup, there is a small button that you need to press to release the liquid from the brewer through the filter and into your cup. This is great if you want to brew loose leaf tea for one or two drinkers. The Smart Brewer is easy to rinse and clean and air dry for the next use. I've yet to try it with coffee, but the next time I get a thicker grind, I just might do so. It is recommended to use a single brewer for either coffee or tea. If you plan on doing both, it may be best to have one dedicated to each. The Smart Brewer from BonJour is a well-made product that makes prepping loose leaf tea a no-hassle process.~ Kort

Very flimsy, not as good as the original
I have had one of these for a couple of years. I love the way you can have the coffee brew for a couple of minutes before filtering into your cup. I decided to buy the new version with the removable screen and the manual drip release button, as the original occasionally releases prematurely, and make a mess, and the screen is difficult to clean. This new one is extremely flimsy compared to the original. You can see the crack that has appeared in the top, 2nd photo, after about a dozen uses. The first photo compares the two. You can see the discoloration of the new one in comparison with the old (black bottom one). Keep in mind I have used the old one hundreds of times. I went back to using the old one. New one is junk.

Nice brewer, lots of room for full leaf teas, watch out opening cover, great dispenser method
This is not my first coffee/tea brewer, but this one is definitely different than my other one.DESIGN:This brewer has a wide cup with a cover that has a zigzag design on it. The base has a button that dispenses the liquid. I have issues with this design, because when you open the cover, any condensation that is on it, falls outside the cup and gets the surface it is on wet. This is due to the wide cover design. My other one has an oblong design and when the cover is opened it all falls back into the container itself. However, I give it an A-plus for the button to dispense the liquid. My other brewer relies on pressure on the base to do this, and I have accidentally poured my tea into the top of my shoe.USAGE:I’ve used this brewer with both coffee and tea. Funny how this one mentioned coffee as an option and my prior one did not. Mind you, my prior one was purchased from a tea selling shop. Maybe there is some flavor that gets imparted from one beverage to another. I have not noticed.I have no issue with use for brewing. This type of tea brewer is great for full leaf teas. Unlike a tea ball or even a pour through strainer, the room provided in this brewer allows the leaves to open right up. Kind of cool to see. Looks like a cup full of lettuce.SUMMARY:This is a nice product and does a good job, except for the condensation issue of the cover.
