I purchased the WD Black 1 TB SSD mainly as a precautionary measure, given that the PS5's internal SSD is integrated into the motherboard and repair costs could be significant if something goes wrong. Investing in this SSD helps alleviate the load on the internal SSD, and there's no performance dip. It performs just as well as the internal SSD with instant load times. Additionally, it comes with a built-in heatsink and is certified by Sony. Now, I can store a lot of games without worrying about space. Highly recommended!

The PS5 benchmark was around 6500 mbp/s as against the 7300 claimed by WD.Other than no complaints. Easy to install. Got it for 11.5k after discounts.

Got 4.01 TB very happy but it's little pricey but i think it worth it.
