So I read reviews about how Bicycle doesn't sell their cards on Amazon so someone else must be selling fakes for profit. I was very hesitant to buy these for a while until I just had to see for myself. If I didn't like my purchase, I'd return it. When I received them, I studied them carefully and concluded that if they were fakes, they're damn good ones. What leads me to believe they are not fakes is this: whoever took the time to meticulously make these cards so close to the real thing has some serious talent. They've mimicked the card box with the hinge, the seal on the end of the box that says U.S. Playjng Card Company, the cellophane wrap, and, of course the cards themselves with utmost care. I would have to say that if these were fakes, someone working in the very factory itself is making them off-hours or has purchased or stolen all of the materials and machinery to make them. I have seen some knockoff products, such as Benro, be even better than the manufacturer they ripped off (Gitzo). However, to simply give entire credit to the U.S. Playjng Card Company logically doesn't make sense. I suppose there could be differences between the real and the fake that a jeweller might be able to detect, but I'm not a jeweller. I'm just an OCD person who studies things closely. I bought a $4 pack of "real Bicycle cards" for comparison purposes and, you know what? The cards feel exactly the same. "Fake" versus real, they bend like them, rub together smoothly like them, and feel just like them. You know why? Because the "fakes" are real Bicycle cards! Lots of people like to complain about things. You always get that one golden nugget who is never satisfied. He or she can't believe a good deal to be true. I watched a magician on YouTube proclaim that he gets authentic Bicycle cards for about $1.30 a pack, so $15.89 for this 12 pack is basically that price.
