Q: How do i make the pen higher. The connecters only allow one level

That’s all you can do with that model. There is a different version that is effectively two tiers but I accidentally bought the same as you have. The only solution I can offer is using toe wraps to secure it to a square below like I had to do.

I bought hooks to nail the pen to the ground. My rabbit got under it and over it with ease. Hooks helped the preventing him getting underneath but still jumped over the top, no problem.

Q: if you have a sealed cage how could you open it to for example change the food or litter box

One of the grids has a hinged soo. And of course you can just pop off one of the segments to allow access and then pop it back on.
