20V MAX Finish Nailer Kit, Angled, 15GA, Battery, Charger & Bag (DCN650D1)

Where to begin - Dewalt kills it again with a great tool - sturdy, dependable, quiet - no cord - and so easy to operate (with a pressure down tip safety feature) that anyone can learn to use a Nailer with confidence. For those of us that do carpentry - I can't think of a better Nailer I've used in decades - glad I upgrade to this one. Buy with confidence on this tool - but to make sure you have the best experience - use Dewalts nails for best results.

This gun is straight forward easy line of sight. I install hardwood floors professionally and had serious doubts that this gun would perform as well as a pneumatic nailer. I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of which it nailed through Red/White Oak flooring both through the tongue and top nailing. It even performed great on Maple which is even harder than Oak. Well worth the price. Make sure you get the Dewalt nails for this item. Set nails perfectly. I've only done hardwood floors with this gun, but if it can handle hardwoods any type of trim work etc would be a breeze.

Bought this as a gift for my son. It arrived on time and in perfect condition. He said the battery kit is amazing and light weight. He’s happy he no longer needs to constantly roll up a cord at the end of a long day at work.

As with all of the DEWALT tools I have purchased, I have been very happy with their value and performance. This unit came with a couple of 2 ah batteries, they proved to be inadequate for my usage. I upgraded them to a couple of 6ah and they performed great. I am a gym floor installer and use this unit along the wall. It has no problem putting the nails into 1” thick maple flooring all day long. It helps to not have to drag 100’ of air hose around behind you!

The Dewalt DNC650 finish nail gun appeared to be an excellent purchase from the beginning. The unit was fairly compact, lite and easy to load but the unit was returned for replacement following a discussion with a Dewalt service rep. The wheel that is used to adjust the nail head depth could not be coaxed to move in either direction. The result was a driven nail that was flush with the trim which then required a hand nail set. This hand set requirement is an activity that I wanted to eliminate with the DCN650. Since I could not adjust the nail depth on this particular piece of equipment, I decided to return the unit for a replacement hoping that the replacement unit will adjust properly. Addendum: The replacement unit has the same issue with the nail depth adjustment wheel. I plan to take the nail gun to a DeWalt service center to see if they can find a way to modify the adjustment wheel so that the nail depth can be properly set where required. Other than the adjustment issue, the nail gun works great!

I love my new toy. I bought it to do crown molding for the first time. I had a few missteps when I first started using it but once I got used to the adjustments it worked great. My only complaint is the metal tip leaves a dent in the wood next to the nail entrance. The other manufacturer I was going to but had a rubber tip to prevent this. I had my first jam and didn't know how to clear the nail. Then I found the easy tip release and it was easy to clear the stuck nail. Caution putting the gun away with the battery, it could shut or run down the battery. You will hear it rev up though. I am old so it does get heavy after a long use or in tight spots, but it is much easier than trying to drive a nail.

I bought this nailer so I wouldn't have to lug around a heavy air compressor. I like that I can use 1 1/4" up to 2 1/2" finish nails. Very versatile. I am a 130# woman and although the weight is manageable, I would love it if it was a little lighter. It is easy to load and use. I used it to install 1X8 nickel joint tongue and groove pine boards and it worked flawlessly. Not a jam or misfire. So far I am impressed with it.

Cloueuse très puissante même pour le bois franc. L'ajustement en profondeur des têtes de clou permet de cloué dans le bois tendre, le bois franc et le MDF. Le gros avantage, pas besoin de compresseur !
