Assembled it easily enough, although my wife was full of trepidation!! Lower than I thought, but comfortable enough and looks fine.

Decent chair , poor quality assembly instructions
Firstly, once assembled, the chair and footstool are quite comfortable and the material and stitching are good HOWEVER, the assembly instructions are very poor. One diagram shows a fixing and an arrow pointing to the underside of the chair. A diagram that actually showed how to put the fixing in place would have been useful. I’ve assembled a lot of flat pack furniture over the years and I’ve never seen such third-rate pictures. Secondly, when I did work it out, I found one of the lugs which a bolt goes through (picture attached) was bent out of position so as to make the connection impossible as it was. The lug was very strong and required a fair bit of effort with a pair of pliers to sort out. Very poor to non-existent quality control on the part of the manufacturer. Given the inconvenience I couldn’t recommend this to anyone. I’d have returned it, but I was losing the will to love then, and really couldn’t be bothered taking it apart and re boxing it.

Lovely looking comfortable chairs
Absolutely wonderful chairs! I am so pleased that I got these, as they are one of the best items that I have bought through Amazon. I had to put them together as they are self assembly chairs and storage footstools, but they were easy to do. They look amazing and the quality is superb. The padding makes them extra comfortable and the reclining ability is really good. Overall these are superb looking chairs with comfort and style, and the footstools with the storage are brilliant. Would definitely recommend these chairs.

Lovely swivel chair with foot stool.
I love this chair, it took my husband a couple of hours to assemble it but he is 76 . The seat is a little low but OK as I am only 5ft 1, the foot rest comes in very handy as you can keep things in there such as remotes or magazines or 2/3 books and its definitely worth the price. Also looks exactly as shown.

Beautiful
Beautiful chair and foot stool. This was bought for my husband's man cave (!) and he loves it. The quality is excellent and it is very comfortable. Perfect!
