Thankfully - for once - the classic late-night-while-(possibly)-inebriated Amazon purchase actually paid off and performed exactly as I needed, when I needed it most. I was in a rush to get to a meeting, and made the unfortunate discovery of a screw that had found a new home right in my tire that was now completely flat. Literally purchased this patch kit a week prior (one of those, "When did I order this?" kind of purchase - we've all been there, dont judge). Anyways, I bought this and a portable car pump - which you're going to want to purchase as well if you intend for this patch kit to be of any real use (Pump was like 25-30 bucks, worth it as well). Followed the instructions, although I'll be honest the pictures and video instructions are a bit more intuitive than the written instructions, which are a bit - well, you know.... After about 30 seconds reviewing the instructions, it took less than 3 minutes to get the new plug in. The pump took another 5 minutes or so, and boom, fixed. Tool quality is good enough to get the job done, and it performed exactly how I expected. One caveat: A tire patch repair method like this is not a permanent fix for a tire; over time, this type of patch I'm sure will become a weak spot for the tire. But in a pinch, this purchase is so worth it. Those of you who've ever changed a tire before know exactly how much of a pain that process can be, especially in a suit before a customer meeting - and especially when you're already running late. And for those of you who don't have a spare tire at all, it's either this patch kit - or a tow truck. From now on I'll be carrying this kit in the glove box of every vehicle I ever own. I have a ready to replace Michelin tire on my suv. Picked up a nail in the center of the tire and needed a quick fix to hold me over about a month until I replace the tires. This item worked great. The quality materials and design were great for the job. The tool to ream out the hole before the plug was great because I could easily remove it from the metal handle with the allen tool they provide in the kit and use it on my cordless drill which made the job easier for that step. The inserting of the plug material was a bit difficult to push in the tire, but I used a rubber hammer to force it in ( the tire was still on the car). The tool held up to my forcing it in with the rubber hammer. I first tried to use the plug tool on my cordless drill but that did not work well. The kit comes with lots of extra plug strips. I finished cut the excess off and filed the tire with air. No leaks. Beats sitting in a tire shop for 2 hours or more. Great value for the money. Quality materials. I would purchase again.

Second time I purchased. Saved one of my tires and one of my daughter's. Comes with plenty of plugs and equipment. Has a nice carrying case and doesn't take up space in the trunk.
