We have a two chamber 65 and got this single chamber fir shorter trips. Most important is the ability to attach both AC and car DC when traveling. The Whynter will priority AC over DC. AC shuts off DC kicks in. We take this in the back country with solar station ons and they never have ket us down. Best in the market.

This is perfect. Fits the Whynter FM-65G like a tailor-made suit. Plus, it's pretty fine lookin'! The real upside for me, which I'm sure will not matter to you, is that the only place to put my 65 was sort of close to my big water jug stand. I kept looking at the Whynter's control panel and the AC cord, and thought all it would take is a splash....and poof! Dead freezer. This protects against that. The control panel is behind a plastic window, and the AC cord is covered by a thick flap. So I'm good. Sure, it may or may not be waterproof, but I'm protected against an occasional drip or splash while filling the coffee carafe, or my water bottles. On a more functional note, I wonder whether in summer - no AC here in the mountains - it will conserve the cold better than without the cover. It has an insulated inner layer. We'll see ; too cold to know that yet. But I'm glad I got this.

This fits well around the 85Q and has a pocket for the cords that come with the fridge. The zippers seem to be well made and work well. The only con on this item is the price which I think is a little high for what it is. The value of this item should be around $50 - $60 since it is custom made for these refrigerator/freezers. Still a good addition to the 85Q fridge.

Build quality seems ok, and it provides some additional insulation. Window for the temperature display and holes for the handles line up. However, the cutouts for the feet are in the wrong place for my unit.The feet of my 45 gal Whynter are directly on the corners. The holes in the bottom of the transit bag are offset inward about 2 inches from the corners, so the feet don't stick through. I expect after some travel and moving about that the bottom of the bag will start to wear through on the corners since the unit is resting on the fabric and not its own feet.Also, the storage pocket is small; approximately 4 inches by 5 inches. Large enough for the DC cord, but not enough room for the AC cord when using DC power. The Whynter manual fits when folded in half.

Overall it does what it's supposed to do. The zippers are very robust, and the material is sturdy. I'm not terribly impressed with the fit, it's pretty loose on the fridge and it's tendency to droop over the fridge causes the display to not be visible through the window. It really fits best completely zipped closed, but that makes it a pain to open the fridge. Perhaps a design improvement could be some elastic to make it hold tight to the fridge body so the top flap can be left unzipped for times when regular access to the fridge is needed.

I live in a somewhat rural area, having to make a 30 min drive for a Costco run. Takes about 30 minutes to get to - 8F and keeps everything frozen, allowing for no rushing back home. Also purchased the cover which is well made as well.

This insulation cover is great. Fits perfect, made of high quality materials, and looks great. I sprayed mine with heavy duty scotch guard just to add a little more water resistance to the fabric. I am sure you will like it!

This is a great product. We have used it camping several times and has kept our food cool. No melted ice on the bottom! Lots of room! Would recommend!

A well made, tough, custom, heavy canvas cover, with reflective material inside to extend the cooling capabilities of the cooler. It should lessen the energy requirements too.Yes, a bit expensive, but what can you do?

Fit could of been better otherwise it's okay..

If you're picking up the cooler this just makes sense. Am just returning from a two week trip to southern Utah, this cooler setup was fantastic and I was quite glad for spending the extra on the cover.
