A great thickener that's clearer than flour or cornstarch
I bought this because I wanted clearer sauces for my Chinese cooking. It's as easy to use as cornstarch and leaves no taste just a nice, smooth texture that makes your cooking look a bit more polished. It takes so little to thickened, I think the container will last a long time, so worth the money. It work perfectly and is gluten free for those who can't use flour.

Great alternative for baking recipes for those with food allergies.
I have many food allergies and have used this with cassava flour to make pastry dough. It worked well. I even got the flaky layers that are challenging to get with alternative flours.

Good quality
Good quality starch, with high purity and no lumps. I use it to make Japanese fried chicken, or Karaage. Marinate your chicken piece in a mix of soy sauce and Mirin for a few hours, then drain and toss with potato starch, adding a little bit at a time to prevent clumping. Pan fry or deep fry, or toss with a small amount of peanut or canola oil and air fry.

needed gluten free
cooking gluten free for a family member. I can use this as a thickener for gravy and sauce. as a coating for chicken and beef and then brown in oil. great in potato latkes and kugel instead of flour. So many uses and this container keeps the starch fresh.

Fry's up well
It does fry up harder than cornstarch, but it is healthier and works very well. I have not tried as a thickener

Great product for the price
This potato starch has a very mild taste and mixes better than most others I’ve tried. I’m very happy with it and will definitely buy it again.

Great for gluten free baking
Received a bread machine for Christmas with a gluten free setting. The recipes in the book use potato starch as one of the ingredients so I began searching for some. I chose Medley Farms since the reviews were good, but also liked that it was in a plastic container instead of a bag. Makes it so much easier. Gluten free bread came out great and I know there are many other gluten free recipes I can use it in.
