V20 RP Impact Wrench, Cordless, Brushless, High Torque, 1/2 Inch, 4Ah Battery and Charger Included (CMCF940M1)

Bought this to replace several parts on my car. It was worked like a beast and did the job very well. The only issue I had was that it seized up while breaking a nut loose on a ball joint. After working it free it felt a little bit like there was some loose metal that got shaved off of maybe a ball bearing inside the drive, but after a while it worked fine again. I probably should have gotten the warranty on it just in case. The battery lasted quite a while too. I only had to charge it once for the whole job (replacing the front knuckles and tie rods on both sides of the car). The size of the gun was good too.

Works well really good cordless 1/2 inch impact the highest in tourqe in the Craftsman impact lineup that i looked at and even stronger than some more expensive brands very versatile and functional seems to be reminiscent of my 1/2 in air impact the anvil is solid and it has the dog ring as far as the weight well the anvil end has a little weight to it but it's to be expected with 1000 ft pounds breaking tourqe good value especially with the 4ah battery and charger and the grip is awesome.

I got really tired of having to fill up my compressor, run a hose, hook up my impact wrench and drag the line from side to side / front to back of any vehicle I was working on. I decided on this impact wrench and used it for the first time over the weekend to do a tire rotation. This impact wrench spun the lug nuts off, which were installed using the pneumatic impact wrench, like they were loose - that's how much torque this thing has. It is a little bit heavy but nothing you can't deal with. There is a slight delay once you release the trigger so that's something you need to get a little used to but it was no problem for me. Having this impact wrench made the tire rotation go faster and of course there was no hoses to roll back up, no compressor to shut off and drain and no oil to feed the air impact. I didn't even bother to charge it after this use since it was still full battery. The best part is you can take it with you anywhere you need and you're not limited by the length of an air hose.

omg never ever expected this to be the best out there. suuuper powerful. you cant go wrong for the money.

Have only used it once., but head and shoulders above my air impact tool. I love it. No Electrical cords either. Quality seems to be right there. Sure does look identical to a lot of other ones on the market. We have Craftsman weed trimmer that seem to hold up. The last one was battery operated with 20 Volt battery pack. So I have plenty of backup battery supply. Delivers fabulous torque both in removing a nut or installing one.

It works well. I had no problem taking off the lug nuts on my '09 Sierra. I'm glad I bought it back in Feb, 2005. The price has increased by $100 since then.

I was skeptical as Craftsman has a declining reputation over the years. I was impressed the first couple of times I used this and don't think my opinion will change. I have had no issues removing bolts (even rusted) with this tool. I like the fact it has 3 settings for various torque.

No por nada craftman tiene su prestigio. Se la compre a mi papá que es mecánico y le ha funcionado de maravilla, anteriormente había comprado otras en tiendas automotrices y no le duraban sobre todo porque eran de carbones y tenían menos fuerza. Esta afloja prácticamente todo tiene muy buen torque. No ha dado problemas y eso que la usa en trabajo pesado no se ha descompuesto y la pila dura

I work professionally in the Automotive trade and used this impact wrench to remove an axle nut and it removed no problem .I am impressed the removal strength this tool has. Impressed and the battery holds the charge a long time .Excellent purchase !!
