Amazing and beautiful knife. It arrived sharp and clean. It did need a little bit of fine sharpening but that's was expected. The sheath is nice thick leather and quality work. I will definitely buy other knives from here.

This knife is really beautiful! I bought it for my Dad for Christmas, and will certainly be buying things from Toferner in the future for myself! It came sharp, but I decided to hone it just a bit before giving it to him, and in less then a minute I could literally shave with it. I also like how the swoop in the handle fits your front four fingers snuggly. This would give a lot of control to a user who was skinning or caping something out. Can you tell I like it yet? The only real downside to it is the sheath. While it's made well enough and has rawhide lacings down the business end side and has a brass rivet, The belt loop leather is much thinner leather than the rest of the sheath. It's held on with both a lower and top rivet, but regardless I think it would break eventually. That wouldn't matter in my family, because as a Skinner it would go in a pack and only be used for skinning. Belt loop aside, this is a great knife at a great price and I WILL be buying more of Toferner's products!! If it wasn't so close to Christmas this one would stay with me! LOL!

Absolutely fabulous, knife materials and workmanship are very well done, and quality leather sheath. Very happy with this purchase. Hats off to Toferner on their craftsmanship.

This knife is one of my favorites. I collect knives and it’s easy to hold. Sharp and fits well in my hand. I collect knives and it’s now one of my favorites!

Having used this knife for a month almost daily except weekends for work I can testify that this blade is quality. Craftsmanship is over the top. The blade has some weight to it, it is not light weight. It came razor sharp. The sheath is quality and does not rip or tear easily. I sharpen the blade every other day as I use it quite often as mentioned for work. I attach the sheath to my belt on my right hip so when I sit down it does not dig into my side. It has been through sand, mud, rain , lots of dirt. I have not experienced the sheath tearing apart as mentioned in other reviews, especially after using it daily. Other reviewer mentioned the user barely used the knife and the sheath ripped. It could have been a manufacturer issue. I will recommend this knife to anyone looking to gift or to use personally. UPDATE NOV 19th, 2021 Still going strong, I continue to use this blade daily and in the elements. Sure it may get a little rust but that is minor and very easily cleaned off with the right technique. I sharpen it once a week. The sheath is still holding up and in good condition

Good product for the money. You may need to touch up the edge upon arrival. Seems like it could have been sharpened better. Otherwise, it seems fine.

What an awesome knife !! the craftsmanship that went into creating this handheld knife is beautiful. I purchased this as my working athame to collect herbs and cut cords, split small pieces of Palo Santo wood an all around kind of a workhorse for my Wiccan practices. And the sharpness is amazing it works so well and feels great in the hand. The leather belt holder is an additional bonus it’s very sturdy getting the knife in and out of the leather holster is very comfortable and easy this is probably the first knife I have purchased that I have not made myself but this company has an excellent product and there are several other blades that I’ve seen that I will be getting in the future. !
