Okay...I can't believe I'm saying this, but it really works for acne. At least for mine. I'm about to turn 41 and have suffered with chin acne for nearly a decade. I've tried way way way too many products, and most things make me break out more. I heard about this and the matcha hemp cleanser years ago and how they're good for sensitive skin and acne. I only just now decided okay well might as well give this a try...and I really should've tried it sooner. In just 2 weeks, I genuinely have seen an improvement in my troubled areas. It has not irritated my skin or caused additional breakouts. My skin feels very soothed. The product is light weight and not greasy. The only teeny tiny downside is that it smells like celery. My face now smells like celery. At first I did question if I could deal with that, because it felt quite strong. But tbh, within a couple days I stopped even noticing it. And the benefits totally outweigh the celery smell. I will 100000% be purchasing this again. Without question.

There is no product that I know of that is a hydrating and refreshing as KRAVE beauty “Great Barrier Relief”. My skin just drinks it up and leaves your face feeling fantastic. The fragrance is ever so slightly nutty. No thing that lingers or lasts it’s not fragrance.

I usually buy straight from the creator. This is my favorite moisturizer. It’s light but incredibly dense and moisturizing. No breakouts. My barrier is fine, so I can’t speak to its ability to repair damage, but it’s better than most of the really expensive moisturizers I’ve used and this one is clean and affordable. It’s marketed as a serum, but in oily so I just use it as a lightweight moisturizer.

I have repurchased this product many times. It is incredible for sensitive skin and I CANNOT live without it. I used it all throughout my Accutane treatment and it helped keep my barrier strong and calmed any irritation. I also use this with my retinol and other exfoliants to avoid any barrier disruption. I love the smell of this product and it sinks into the skin nicely. Also great under makeup. Very hydrating and not sticky at all!

ORIGINAL REVIEW: I’ve been a huge Krave fan for years. I’ve bought well over a dozen of these serums alone over the years. Now, I hadn’t repurchased this in about 3/4 years for no reason at all other than I guess I just forgot to or something came up. Never because I found something I liked more. This was my all time favorite serum, if that’s what you’d call it. It made my skin so soft and soothed and hydrated, especially in the throes of adjusting to tretinoin when everything besides water stung my skin. I was so happy when this showed up as a rec for me on here and I had to get it. They’ve changed everything about this. The bottle no longer feels luxurious and high quality, it used to be glass with a very nice cap. Now it feels like the cheapest, flimsiest plastic ever. Also, the formula has changed. It’s a lot thinner than it used to be, and the fragrance is different as well. I don’t know, it’s not the same. It’s a shame when something like this happens. They had a great thing goin for sure. I’ll have to get back to you on how it makes my skin react long term, not my initial impression isn’t great. UPDATES: NEW REVIEW DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! i knew this item felt light when i first purchased it, but i assumed it was because they changed from glass to cheap plastic bottles. this is not the case. the outer plastic bottle is just for show! none of the actual product is in the bottle! it’s in a tiny little balloon that is INSIDE the bottle you can’t see unless you unscrew it! you aren’t getting the amount the that you would if they actually filled that outside bottle. it’s a scam. i loved this brand for years and have repurchased their items over a dozen times. they’re still charging the same they did when they had FILLED, GLASS bottles!

The smell definitely threw me off the first time I pumped it out and applied it to my face. Thankfully, your face does not smell like that once the product has absorbed into your skin. It absorbs quickly. It is definitely expensive, but I have a damaged skin barrier right now and it’s very soothing and is definitely healing it. I have no sensitivity from this product. It leaves my skin hydrated before I even put on my moisturizer.

I absolutely love this product. I always have a backup bottle so I don’t run out. The reviews that say it’s smells like celery or smells terrible. Well it does have a light celery smell, but it doesn’t last. Once it’s on your face, you forget all about it and it doesn’t linger. I’m sensitive to smells and this doesn’t bother me. It feels truly luxurious on my skin. My face feels fully hydrated. I just order the small bottle as it can travel & you don’t need much. A little goes along way! I feel like my skin has a healthier glowy appearance at age 54. I hate it took me so long to purchase. So don’t let the smell detour you, because truly it’s not bad and it goes away just as fast as you put it on. Chef’s Kiss!

While this did help repair my barrier, it caused me to break out. I have oily skin that breaks out on occasion but since using this, I’ve had new break outs daily! I wish it worked for me like it did everyone else. I think it’s too heavy for my skin.

Used once and the smell is disgusting. Won't be using again.
