Crash bars installed in about an hour, and was a simple install. Recommend a torque wrench for proper tightening since you are working with engine mounting bolts. Sliders give you a nice place to change your leg position for long rides. Welds are nice, paint was nice, instructions are sufficient. The bottom bolt you'll just figure out where it lays on the bike once you have the other bolts loosely in place. I received the bars in just a few days, not weeks like other's have seen.

I was a little scared about removing the engine mount bolts but I just did one at a time and it went well. I started with the left and really took my time, took maybe 40m but once I had the hang of it, the right side went on in about 20. I used blue Loctite and torqued to the specs I found in my service manual. They have plastic frame sliders included, I will put friction tape on them and use them as an alternate foot or calf position.I put the exhaust bolt on first, the the frame hanger bolt on the other end, then the middle bolt, that process worked well.

As they wrote here, the quality of the bolts is poor. it's better to give this job to a mechanic. otherwise, you may damage the threads in the engine block. Other than that, there are no problems, the installation is easy and looks good.

This product will take a while to reach you, for me it took over 2 months from ordering. At first I wasn’t sure it would be a quality item…But I was wrong these are very well built and after contacting customer service for the installation instructions it was very easy to install onto the bike, all of the machined bolts fit perfectly and the bars look great on the bike to.I bought these crash bars mainly to mount highway pegs in my motorcycle and it will serve that purpose wonderfully.All in all if you are willing to wait this is a great product. Also their customer support is very quick to respond usually less than 4 hours response time

I don't believe all of these reviews as I cannot loosen the front lower bolt using decent tools.

These took over 3 weeks to arrive (they literally put them on a boat to the US and FedEx once here) but we're worth the wait. I am very impressed with the quality and I did not realize that they also came with sliders (put them on *after* the bars are on the bike). The bonus is the sliders work as foot rests or you can lay a leg over the top of each one. Installation was very easy (instructions were included) and they are solid! Very happy with this purchase!
