I didn’t realize how much of a difference a filtered shower head could make until I tried this one! 💧 My hair feels noticeably softer, and my skin isn’t as dry or itchy after showering anymore. The water pressure is perfect strong but still gentle and it creates a really refreshing spa-like feel. The installation took less than five minutes and didn’t require any tools, which I loved. It even came with extra filter cartridges so I’m set for months. The design is sleek and modern, and I like that you can see the mineral beads inside doing their job. If you deal with hard water, dull hair, or dry skin, this is absolutely worth it. I can already tell my conditioner works better now that the buildup from chlorine and other minerals is filtered out. 🌿✨ Highly recommend for anyone wanting to upgrade their shower experience it’s like a mini self-care moment every day!

This is the first time I’ve ever purchased something to filter my shower water, the difference it made in everything shower related is unbelievable! I never EVER thought a shower head or filtered water would make such a huge difference. My skin is softer and smoother, and better than that, I seem to have a different head of hair. My hair is thicker, fuller and smoother. I have eczema on my scalp, which can be miserable, and I’m not bothered by it at all. I have never “loved” my hair but now that I see the difference, I’m amazed how much better it is with softness and better control with the same hair products. I also have dry skin and and I use moisturizing cream rather than lotion, and it’s way more expensive than regular lotion. I know it’s not just in my mind that I’m using less of it because it glides on smoother. Installation was a dream. I just took the old one off and screwed this one on. I did make sure to buy Teflon tape along with the shower head so make sure you have some of that on hand, and make sure you pop out the old restrictor from the water outlet, if you have that type of device. The water pressure is ok with the restrictor that comes installed on this but it’s fairly easy to take out as it’s inside the top of the shower head where it connects to your water outlet. It’s a black o ring with a tiny screen in it. The shower head has a VERY light touch tab to change the spray settings. The shower head swivels very nicely so I can use to rinse my shower when I clean it, which is way better than having to continuously splash and wipe it down. This shower head is one of the top two or three things I’ve ever purchased during prime days. I purchased the brushed nickel finish for just under $23 to match my other hardware. The chrome finish is just under $19. It’s a good quality unit so there’s absolutely no need to spend money on a pricey one. This one is worth every single penny. I love it.

This is a great shower head. It was super easy to install with no leaks. I love all the settings and it’s so easy to adjust between different water pressure settings. The water pressure is intense and creates a great massage and is super relaxing.

This arrived last night. However, I'm thinking this was a returned item. I am basing this on what I've seen in pictures other reviewers have posted. As you can see in my pictures, it came wrapped in a foam-type bag. There was no cardboard form inside the box to keep it secure. Also, the extra washer was not in any little bag, it was just lying on the bottom of the box. There was no red flow restrictor in the box, or in the shower head under the washer. Neither was there a STOP instruction sheet for the restrictor. This really didn't bother me, as I was planning on removing the restrictor anyway. When I opened the shower head, the filter did not look used. I installed it this morning, and it appears to be working just fine. I'm wondering if someone tried it, didn't like it, and returned it barely used. As long as it's working I'm ok with it. It installed quickly, and there are no leaks. So, I will be keeping it unless something happens with it within the return window. All this being said, I am finding that Amazon seems to be regularly sending out returned items without checking what might be the reason for the return. I ordered a baby gate recently and when I went to install it, parts were missing. I wrote "MISSING PARTS" on the box in the hope that they don't just turn around and send it off to some other customer. I have decided to write the reason on the packaging of any item I return, if it's broken or missing parts. Hopefully, this might prevent Amazon from sending it to another unsuspecting customer. My second annoyance is I paid $29.97 for this showerhead. It was same day delivery. When I got the showerhead later in the day, the product page now said it's $25.99 - with an additional $6.00 coupon - with next day delivery. So, $10.00 less in the course of one day. Really? I would have gone with next day delivery to save $10.00. I call bs, Amazon😡. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- UPDATE: I've been using this for about a week now, so thought I'd do an update. I have it on the "Rain+Intense" setting, because I like a larger amount of water from my shower head. There's definitely "rain", but the "intense" is not so much. If I do only the "intense" the pressure is good, but with the R+I setting the intense pressure is only moderate, as the water is dispersed through more holes. All-in-all, this is just an ok shower head. Not quite what I was hoping. I think I'll return the 2 extra filters I bought, and look for a different shower head when it's time to change the filter.

This shower head is amazing!! I ordered the one with the premium filter. This is about the 10th shower head with a filter I have tried, I figured try one more time. I have extremely hard well water (even with a filter)which was affecting my shin and hair badly. My skin and scalp was extremely itchy, dry and red all of the time and my hair was dry and falling out. I was using cream and extra conditioner. My landlord is an extreme cheapass and won't put in a Water filter system in. This filter is amazing, I could tell with my first shower. My skin wasn't slimy, shower didn't lose pressure, my hair wasn't as knotted as much and the brassyness was less in my blonde hair. Only downfall is I'll have to replace the filter probably ever 3-4 weeks. Thank you from the bottom of my heart MakeFit!! Definitely would recommend!!

easy install and it works really well! the streams are pretty strong and don't mist everywhere like my old filter showerhead did. the head itself is larger than I expected which I like. it's a solid showerhead for the price, plus it's super pretty!

I've been using this MakeFit filtered shower head for a couple of weeks now, and I have noticed some changes, especially on my skin. The water at my house is quite hard, and before, my skin felt drier and my hair felt rough after showering. Since installing this activated carbon filter shower head, my skin feels a bit softer, and my hair isn't as dull. It's not a miraculous overnight change, but you can definitely see the difference with continued use. Installation was easy; I was able to install it myself without any special tools: just unscrew the old shower head, apply some Teflon tape (which was included), and screw on the new one. It doesn't drip, and the water pressure remains quite good; I even found the spray a bit more concentrated, which is appreciated for rinsing out shampoo and conditioner. The design looks modern, and the finish is clean; it doesn't look cheap. One thing to consider is that the shower head is a bit heavier than a standard one due to the internal filter, so if your shower arm is old or loose, you might need to adjust it to prevent it from falling. Also, keep in mind that the filter cartridge will need to be changed periodically (depending on usage), so that's an additional expense worth factoring in. In short, I think it's a good option if you want to improve the quality of your shower water and take better care of your skin and hair without the hassle of professional installation. It works well, looks nice, and as long as you remember to change the filter when needed, it lives up to its promises.
