Bring on the knives and yes even that much feared and dreaded mandolin slicer
I almost always hold off from doing reviews within a week or two of receiving any items so that I can have a good chance to really use them and I even go back after a few months and will add an update if an item is particularly good or if it failed. This is one of those rare instances where I was eagerly awaiting the delivery so I could really give them a go and no not with a knife to start out but instead a very expensive mandolin slicer that I buried and hid at the back of the furthest cupboard over twenty years ago after not once but twice taking a few fingertips off even being as careful as I could and using the device that you hold the food with so you don’t cut your fingers. I of course had to try a tomato then potato and I did not use the guard, but I was extremely careful even wearing these gloves. The gloves afford you a sense security and comfort and take away that fear that has built up after being bit by a mandolin slicer. The silicon dots that are on the palm side of the gloves if you have them on the right hands that provide a nonslip grip to everything I tried and again provided a sense of security allowing me to work without fear. I did use the gloves with my best knives and they made holding the knife so much easier again I can’t say it enough they provide a level of assurance that you aren’t going to slip and cut yourself. The gloves are rated with a level 5 cut resistance and they really are as good as they sound and as depicted in their video. They are a food-grade and they are darn comfortable this is one of those rare purchases where you know you got your moneys worth and a whole lot more. If you use the gloves as the manufacturer recommends you cannot go wrong. The silicone microdots are to provide a nonslip grip and are not to be used for heat these are no oven mitts and they are not to protect against stabs or even the rotary meat slicer they are to add protection from accidental slips and cuts like those from a slash not a stab. I liked these so much I have already gifted a pair to a family member whom I think will appreciate them as much as I do.

They 'Fit Like a Glove'
I've never had gloves sized so precisely. I ordered a S, they fit but were snug so I returned for the M size, now the fit is perfect. Excellent construction and quality, even the fingers fit great and that rarely happens. I'm glad I upgraded to the grip dots, they make for a very secure grip for woodcarving. It would be nice to have the dots of both sides but it's not a deal breaker.

Larger than size guide, but they seem to be made well!
I measured my hands carefully before purchasing these, and bought the medium size, per the size guide. They were just too large for me, unfortunately so I had to return them. For reference, I have long fingers and wear a women’s 5.5 wedding band (fairly thin, long fingers— I can stretch a full octave on a piano lol) and my measurements were on the small end/near the middle of the range stated for the medium size. Also, I typically wear a medium in dishwashing gloves or latex gloves. These gloves fit the length of my hand to the wrist just fine, but they had so much extra fabric in the palm that I could have put a medium sized lemon inside along with my hand! And while the I made sure my fingers were all the way inside the gloves (making sure there was no extra fabric in the “web” area between each finger), the ends of each finger were still too long, with loose fabric at the ends of each finger. I will probably try the small size at some point, and hopefully they will fit better. Other than the fit of mine, I think these seem to be made very well, though I did not try using them in the kitchen, since I felt the improper fit might create a safety issue. With the right fit, I think these would come in handy while using a mandolin slicer (I cut off the tip of my thumb using one of those many years ago, and I’m not making that mistake again!), or for cutting slippery or awkward to grasp vegetables like watermelon, butternut squash, etc. Of course, with a properly sharpened knife and proper knife technique, a glove “shouldn’t” be necessary... but what human being using a knife has always been 100% perfect? No one is perfect, or is able to completely focus at all times, so that’s what these are for! After my purchase I received an email from the company with some safety tips, and I actually appreciated that, unlike some of the seller/manufacturer emails that just seem like marketing or solicitations. Per the email, these are for kitchen use (for protection while using a mandolin slicer, or using knives on a cutting board), and are not capable of preventing puncture wounds. They should not be used when using a meat slicing machine, and should not be used when working with power cutting tools, etc. And the email also stated that you shouldn’t try to test the limits of the glove with your hand inside, which seems like VERY good advice! The thought of that makes me nauseous. Don’t do that! I wish these had worked for me, and I hope to try a smaller size sometime. I’ll definitely purchase this brand again, though! Fingers crossed the small ones fit!

Great quality and very durable
I love these gloves! They are thin enough to allow you to work with a knife and also provide some protection against cuts. I use these to cut chicken quarters into smaller portions and wanted extra cut protection. I also like putting a nitrile glove on top of them so that they stay clean. They have lasted very well and go through the washing machine just fine - they come out like new.

Good fit and protection
These gloves feel comfortable and fit well, neither too roomy nor too snug. I can get them on and off easily. I purchased these after a mishap while cutting a bagel. They give me a sense of safety when using sharp knives or a mandolin. I ordered them in black since I figured the color would be less likely to show food stains. However, the gloves washed easily. I am glad I made this purchase.

Superb Kitchen Safety Gloves
I ordered a pair of these a few years ago and believe me, they saved me from slicing my hand/fingers with a knife a few times. The are excellent food preparation gloves that prevent injuries from sharp objects. They are not bulky, so do not get in the way when chopping and slicing food. The older gray pair continue to be just as effective as when I first started using them but there are food stains on them, so I ordered a new black pair this time that will stay pretty for years to come.

Fingertips are not snug
Review update: The seller worked with me to find a better fitting pair and I appreciate all the efforts to find the right sizing. Definitely top notch customer service here. While the new pair fits better they may not work well for our intended purpose of filleting fish. We will try it though. Original review: I purchased these based on the positive reviews. My husband opened his gift, tried them on, and the fingers were at least 1 inch too long. I don't know who has that long of fingers but these are definitely being returned.

These are GREAT work gloves!
Purchased these last year and love these gloves. My husband and I are always outside working in the yard and I don’t know what I ever did before I got these. Used them all last year and for landscape projects this spring in 2025. Husband use to get me leather gloves, but never found them very comfortable. I purchased in size medium and should have gone down to a size small, but kept the size medium still use them almost every day. Very comfortable and the knit on the back keeps your hands cool while the palm side of the gloves protect your hands from sharp objects. I also like the grip which helps you grasp on to clippers and tools without slipping. They are still in excellent condition, but thinking of ordering a size small just to have on hand. Sturdy durable gloves which last and protect your hands for many years. Great purchase and recommend highly.
