Just received my new Clymer Yamaha V-Star 1100 manual today, I haven't used it yet but I have browsed through it thoroughly. I am very impressed so far and very happy with the purchase. The photos and artwork are first rate. I definitely recommend this manual to all V-Star 1100 owners, it's a must have!

Good info to have.

Had everything I needed so far. Changing pipes, adjusting the carbs and changing the oil are some of the items I referenced before wrenching - It takes a lot of guessing out of the projects. It also helped me determine the "original" pipes that came with the bike were not the correct set so I was able to switch for the correct set with the seller of my 2008 V-Star 1100.

Not bad. A little vague at times, but certainly helpful for a novice.

I have worked on alot of cars from changing oil to full rebuilds on motors, stock and high performance. I was a little leary on tearing into the motor of my V-star 1100 custom because I have never worked on motorcycle engines and the Yamaha shop made it out to be ALOT harder than it was. This manual was very detailed on how to replace my starter oneway clutch which saved me between $400-$450 dollars in just labor not to mention the savings that I had on finding the OEM part on line about $150 dollars less than the dealership. I strongly recommend the manual! Well worth the money that I paid for it!!!

FOUND THE MANUAL TO BE VERY INDEPTH,EASY TO FOLLOW AND THE ILLUSTRATIONS HELPFULL AS WELL. IT IS WITHOUT A DOUBT AN ABSOLUTE MUST TO HAVE THIS MANUAL IF YOU PREFER TO DO YOUR OWN MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS ON YOUR BIKE. WITH THE ABOVE HAVING BEEN MENTIONED I PERSONALLY RATE MY CLYMER MOTORCYCLE REPAIR MANUAL AS 5 STAR AND TOP NOTCH ALL THE WAY.

If you own a motorcycle its a must have. These manuals are vehicle specific and give you all the details you need to repair your bike or car. Worth there wait in gold.

Used Clymer manuals before and they’re very useful

Great book, lots of details. The photography could be more "high definition" as most are black and white and not always displayed in "large Plan" details are sometimes difficult to flesh out. This said it's an excellent book for anyone trying to figure thins out.
