Comfortable, pretty earbud with a tremendous sound. Well worth buying.
First thing when you receive the earbuds is getting them the right way around and getting a good fit. I use Spinfit tips because they make an XL which is soft and stops me shoving the iem hard into my ears. Once you get a proper seal, the iem will produce good bass. Next is getting the cable on. Tiny little pins. Just make sure each capsule is the right way round in your ears and not on the wrong side of your head. When on the correct way, they sit flat whereas the wrong way around, they stick out! Cable is very flexible and non microphonic. It doesn’t transmit sounds into the headset if you move around. The next thing that I noticed was just how beautifully the buds fit into your ears. I find lining up the tips with my ears and then twisting upwards gets them to slot into my ears really solidly. The the moment of truth….. play something. The sound is huge. These buds produce a fat, juicy bass that is absolutely fantastic for electronic music and rock. For orchestral, I found them a bit weighty with timpani especially but that is no problem. There are tiny little adjustment switches on the buds that adjust the EQ and it makes a difference. They each have two positions …. On or off and there are two of them on each bud. If 1 is on and 0 is off, I adjusted mine to 0 : 1. The first switch adjusts bass amount and the second lower treble. Even though I have the bass on 0, it still hits magnificently. The treble is slightly raised which is great for strings and cymbal sounds. The default setting when you get the earbuds is 1:1. Lifted bass and lifted treble. I have quite a few earbuds and some sound pretty good, others not so good. I also have found fit on many to be very problematic. With the Quartet, I found it to sound powerful, smooth and big bonus ….. comfortable. Just find the right sized tip, whether it’s one of their tips or another make. Spinfit are amazingly good with them. I am absolutely delighted with these buds. They sound like a full bodied large headphone which is fantastic for portable use. So good that it’s easy to forget that you might be walking around outside and get distracted by such good sounds from the Quartet. Now one of my favourite earbuds.

Great for bass stage monitoring
My bass player uses these for live performances and rehearsals, he is very happy with the monitoring in the lower registers for his playing as well as his singing. Great fit and look too!

The IEMs aren’t terrible, but they didn’t meet my expectations. To be fair, my opinion is shaped by the specific genres I listen to and my personal sound preferences. That said, I found these IEMs to be quite overrated, which ultimately led me to return them. The sound came across as tinny to my ears, and the tuning switches didn’t make a noticeable difference. I even tried tweaking using EQ, but the improvements didn’t warrant me spending the money. Despite the overwhelmingly positive reviews, I personally struggled to enjoy the sound profile and feel that giving them 3 stars is generous. That said, audio is highly subjective, and I can understand why others might love them and rate them higher and so I still recommend giving them a try as they might suit your ears better than mine. On the positive side, the packaging follows the usual clean and minimalist style typical of Kiwi Ears, which I have no complaints about. The travel case, however, is a bit tight, it tends to compress the IEMs slightly. Build quality is solid overall, with nothing major to fault and the comfort is very good as they aren’t too large and fit very well within my ears.

Excellent if powered
Honestly amazing, even better when correctly powered by an in-line dac or headphone dac amp :) So much detail, incredible low end

IEMs Overrated
TLDR: They're fine, but not my favourite audio playback method. I paired these with a SYBA Sonic DAC and they work just fine, but before I was using older cheap Hyper-X earphones (£20~) and I'm honestly not noticing much of an improvement. I'm 26 so it's not like I'm super deaf or anything, but either the hyper X earphones were either insanely good or more realistically these Kiwis just aren't that good. I also find the over ear cable system to be quite uncomfortable, especially when compared to a quality pair of headphones. They do come with a variety of earbuds sizes and generally the fit is quite good, but I think I'm just going to purchase wireless headphones in the future. (My old A50s died on me after 5y of service, RIP). The look and style of these earbuds are insane though, I find the purple and black epoxy look to be visually striking, but looks don't matter that much unless you're a streamer I suppose, which I'm not. Overall I think these are fine, but I paid around £84 for these and I would have preferred putting that money into a solid set of wireless headphones, like the steel series artics pro or the latest A50s.

Amazing sound, dubious quality.
The iems sound amazing, deep bass with excellent clarity and high hits. The switches on the earphones do allow you to tune it quite a bit. However, the first pair I had the right iem suddenly became much more bassier, making some content and songs almost unbearable to listen to, this happened about 1.5 months into owning them. I returned them and had a new pair, exactly the same thing happened within the same Timeframe. There is no issue with the device being used or the cable being used for the iems (the stock included cable). They sound amazing but I have serious concerns over the longevity and durability of these, I would not buy another pair from kiwi ears again.

The Linsoul Kiwi Ears Quartet are amazing for both gaming and music. The soundstage is wide and the imaging is super accurate — you can easily pinpoint footsteps and directional sounds in FPS games. The bass is punchy without being overpowering, and the mids/highs stay clear so voices and gunfire sound clean. They’re really comfortable for long sessions and look awesome too. Took a bit of trial and error with the fit, but once set up, they perform flawlessly. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting high-end audio quality for competitive gaming! Definitely get an audio dac to drive these !
